Come on now, I have both mac and windows and they are equally matched overall! Sure for the price of a macbook 13 inch with i5 is the same price of a badass windows, they both offer different aspects you could not get in one or the other. I mean mac has the amazing os with limited power. Windows has a pretty nice os With badass features for a better deal. There is no need to bash the mac for being overpriced.

@jibbyhibby1 I'm not bashing on the Mac's price. I'm rage bashing on it b/c it doesn't have the same capabilities for certain things that a windows laptop has. All laptops in general are expensive its just that Dell has better deals behind their laptop and better performance. What I'm trying to say is there are things out there that just don't work for a mac or needs a certain program just to get it to work.

I have this computer and it is amazing. For some reason tho i had to change a setting on my graphic card, the nvidia gt549M i think, to play minecraft buy it runs amazing now like 200 fps on render high and render on low gets like 600 fps. All in all i have had no problems with this

Just got this with the i7 2720 GT555m 3GB VRAM and 12 GB of RAM 1080p screen and it'll run anything smooth at 900p and max everything. Most mobile cards (even mac) can't handle 1080p games yet. The AMD ATI in the mac book pro is accually slower in crysis and black ops with the 555m. This thing is just insane for ripping DVD's or anything HD sceen is just amazing. Will dog the battery life though 9cell life is just ok about 5-6 hours lowest brightness and net surfing. Games maybe 2 hours

My Dell XPS was 1500 and is much much better than a 2000 dollar mac book pro. plus mine is a 1080p screen and all that. ive tried all teh graphics configs with crysis and i found that 1366x768 (the xps other native resolution, if you got the lower res screen) with all high settings runs the game smoothly and beautifully, to me it looks much nicer than the 1920x1080 on medium. and i do have the l502x with 1080p screen. my only issues with this computer are the speakers going a little tinny after about a month (actually just the left one) and the top and bottom of the screen looking a little faded sometimes.

@007wii type in system requirements lab in google and click on the first link, then click can you run it. type in the game you wanna see if your computer can play or not. It will then analyze your computer and tell you if u can or not. Best way to check in most cases

@RobsysGames It was running on medium settings, i set them to high and the game runs laggy, crysis 2 will run but on medium settings im guessing, with some tweaks between medium and high it can run ok. but with all high settings its going to run slow and at a low FPS.

That user can run this game in high settings with a playable framerate at 20-30 FPS. Plus he's using a Core i5 processor. Also his gt 540m has 1GB memory unlike yours which is 2GB.
