All I know is EVERY kid need they ass beat a couple times in their childhood, even for no reason.

@Quack808 That works quite well.....until the kid gets bigger and stronger than you and starts beating the parent's ass. And we wonder why there's elder abuse. A lot of it is payback for abuse parents pulled.

@lawrence5584 How often does that happen? Usually the kid grows up and tries to forget everything there parent done to make them better people, and that's how it ought to be.

Mom is a whimp;why should dad have to be the heavy when he gets home(0.55).

@recoverfromhydro Precisely. If Mom and Dad are equal, then Mom should discipline the kid when the infraction happens. Moreover, when you wait like this to punish a child for something, there isn't the same connection between the act and the punishment. Instead the kid feels dads just a mean, bad guy. You need to deal with the situation the moment it happens so correcting the behaviour is more effective.
