To understand who the strangers or gentiles were see Acts 2:5-11. As for Romans 9 you should take your advice and read down to v.27 and you'll see who that's referring too. To understand who the strangers or gentiles were see Acts 2:5-11. As for Romans 9 you should take your advice and read down to v.27 and you'll see who that's referring too. As for you comment on Paul. Paul was not a Jew he was a Benjamite which is why he called himself a Gentile also. For the word had to be preached to the Jews (Judah) first. Zech 12:7.

WHY because you can go back to the original language and see that the meaning has not changed although the languages have changed like the STRONG says very clear "Joshua" in Hebrew ("Yahowshuwa" , Strong's #3091) is the same name as "Jesus" in Greek ("Iesous" , Strongs #2424).
The translation of the name in English from the GREEK is JESUS. It is not a mystery and it is translated CORRECTLY.
