Actually no.. what's stupid is your assumption that these people get major injuries without bothering to ask or research. If we obviously had many major injuries (or even a handful) we obviously wouldn't be doing it, as should be the response for any normal, sane human being. A good deal of the wrestlers are professionally trained with some sharing that experience with others to ensure the safest possible environment without the confides of a ring.
