  • Thank you for suffering through that; as always, the result is beautiful.

  • Can't beat the North East for the icy wind!

I notice your pallette consists of about 16 deep chambers. Do you load these up with raw acrylic paint at the start, and then keep topping up, or do you add some retarder to keep them from drying out?

Really appreciate your youtube videos - great inspiration and teaching - thanks and keep them coming!

  • Thank You...

You sound like you've experience of the localised weather, it can catch you sometimes, still it keeps us cool on those long hot sultry summer days.

My light weight box is on show, the larger one has bigger compartments and they are both topped up as soon as I get back home (after I wash the brushes.) No retarder, the lid is snug against the top of the chambers... I tend to use the paint up before it dries...

My fridge however is very empty

  • Wow. New extreme sport - plein air painting! See you at the X Games.

  • @doersdoit

    Thank you....

It was cold and a challenge... although to be fair to sport, what I did... lacked competition and any kind of organisation;).

It was amongst other things both frustrating and exhilarating but wouldn't recommend doing it unless you enjoy the two adjectives together.
