  • Good for you! Don't give up, you are doing great and I hope things get better. Everyone has their there own way of quitting. You are a great father and anyone that knows your backround at all knows what a great father you are!!

  • Dude- this looks rough- hope your head feels better! I'm proud of you guys for doing this! I think Quest should make you and RG their official spokespeople!

  • I think its great that you and Riddlegirl want to quit. And i dont think your bad parents by smoking in the house. Ignor those people who post negitive comments cause they dont know how hard it is to quit smoking. Not that i ever smoked before but i know its hard.Wish you guys the best of luck. • I've been away for a bit so I'm just now hearing that you quit. My husband and I decided to quit recently. Today is day 24 for both of us. :D Were using the Commit Lozenges. They seem to work best for us so far. Good Luck and stay strong. It does get easier. The first 4-5 days are really rough. After a couple weeks I started to notice I had less triggers. Now I'm not thinking of cigarettes nearly as much as I was.

    Take Care!

  • yeah...i cheated a bunch..but eventually got off that 2 pack a day deal...but i puffed on those filter-tip cigars in replacement...which i would inhale occasionally...so i quess you say i "quit" at least i wasn't doing 2 packs of "boros" a day...hang in there---------man...your custody battle sounds almost exaxtly like our son's deal with his "kooky" ex-wife...it was all about money with her..to hell what was best for the kids...ok...later ...stay tuff.......

  • Good Job guys keep on going at it.

  • It is commendable that you are challenging yourself to quit with so much stress on your plate. It is apparent that you are indeed an excellent father--Kyla has a very bright future to look forward to that she will thank you for. Stay strong poison stinger; we're all pulling for you.

  • you have to make a list of reasons not to smoke. LIKE MONEY! Hundreds of dollars a year is nice in the pocket rather then the pocket of your lungs. What really works is get a picture of a diseased lung off the internet also known as a smokers lung and put that image as your computer wall paper. When you want a smoke look at that picture. I quit last year. I feel much better and I am much more healthy then I was last year.

  • I commend you and RG for getting rid of the smoking. As for smoking in your own home, its your own business. My parents and grandparents did the same and everyone came out fine. You may think I am crazy, but I want you to try an ice wrap on your head. It works for me when I have terrible migraines. Put ice in a ziploc then wrap with a small towel and it will slowly go away.

Keep up the good work. I already wrote RG about the Quests. My last smoke day is the 21st. Try not to stress!
