The Islamic Iblis/Satan (yes, both names are in the koran in the same "fall" story) was the head Jinn, which were made of smokeless fire, whereas the angels were made of pure white light.

I am not atheist as many atheists try to argue over religion with science. Science can not prove or disprove whether Jesus rose or didn't rise. Science never deals with one extraordinary event. I believe that it should be the job of historians to determine whether or no Jesus rose from the dead. As far as history is concerned there is no evidence to support it.

In Isaiah 14:12 it says "how you are fallen, o morning star" and the King James Bible actualy uses the word Lucifer. this pasage is taken to be speaking to satan,as the spirit behind the King of Babylon.

I am not atheist as many atheists try to argue over religion with science. Science can not prove or disprove whether Jesus rose or didn't rise. Science never deals with one extraordinary event. I believe that it should be the job of historians to determine whether or no Jesus rose from the dead. As far as history is concerned there is no evidence to support it.

First off the Romans have no text about stationing guards by Jesus's tomb and we have not found the supposed "tomb". But lets, for a moment, consider that maybe all of this is true. @BaconBLTurner Not everyone in the early church saw the risen Jesus but they had good reason to believe it. Jesus tomb was found empty even though there had been several roman soldiers guarding it. It would impossible for his disciples to steal his body too bcuz not only were there soldiers on guard but there was a huge stone blocking the entrance of his tomb. Also Jesus life and death fulfilled the prophecies of the old testament. So the evidence was pretty clear that Jesus had risen.

There was at first just one branch, then people started to change it to the way that they wanted it hence why there are so many followers and branches, it caters to so many peoples different beliefs. An Islam is actually catching up to Christianity rather quickly.

They were persecuted heavily by the Roman empire but that still didnt stop them. If Jesus had not risen from the dead then all of this would be a waste of time but they considered it important enough that they would risk their lives to get the message out.

Muslims spends their lives working to earn salvation while Christians are given salvation freely through faith in Jesus. In Islam there is no savior. Strictly speaking it is not correct to say that the word Lucifer has no connection with satan in the Bible. In Isaiah 14:12 it says "how you are fallen, o morning star" and the King James Bible actualy uses the word Lucifer. this pasage is taken to be speaking to satan,as the spirit behind the King of Babylon.
So the connection is not direct, but it is there. Satan was the bright morning star (the hebrew mean shining) who said he would be God, thus lucifer became the adversary
