Bambi really wanted to make his dad proud, in the end, and I know that most of you must have already seen the movie, the father feels guilty because he thinks Bambi died. He probably thought back at all the things that he didn't let him do and that he wanted him to be perfect, not letting him have fun and say "Whoo! Hoo!".

I didn't even say anything about my dad. I was just saying that, in most of the movies that i've seen, dads are characterized as being mean and bossy, at least their kids/pups/cubs etc., like in Lady and the Tramp 2.

And in Lion King 2. Kiari wanted to hunt for herself but her dad didn't want to let her.

In the movie Little Giants, the girl's father didn't say anything, at least in what i remember of the movie, about her wanting to become a football player.

This song makes me so sad. It perfectly describes my feelings towards my dad. Whatever I do is wrong and he feels the need to judge me on everything and point out how I am wrong, he is right, and that his life is perfect. What's even worse is that the only reason he thinks that is because no one has the guts to tell him how much of a dick he can be. I try to tell him but he doesn't listen to me and acts like I'm deranged to think that he might have faults. And he wonders why we're not close?!!
