i dont like how the whole cast is on the stage. this song isnt supposed to take place on skid row. thats what the song skid row is for. it just looks cramped and chaotic. but not organized chaos. just chaos.
@facedownxlove I don't think it was chaos, i like this version. and in the original (and revival) broadway versions, the opening song did take place on skid row. granted yes, the ensemble was not on stage, but overall this is a pretty good looking version
This is really good! The vocalz could be held better, but singing and dancing is hard. :) I love the originality of the opening how everyone is on stage. All the commotion is well staged and choreographed! And the doo-wops have amazing voices and energy.

I found it in fact not so beautiful. such as I am honest I am now myself also busy with the musical little shop or horrors and I find it in fact here at the stage association greg and baud improves latches we has Saturday 28 -2 and Sunday 1-3 our act maybe come it also on you tube then are possible you hearing it is then only, but it is in Dutch ;)

Although there was a lot going on, it didn't really distract the audience much--it only added to the theme. This was the best I've seen yet on Youtube, and also the first I've seen with three black girls. Only thing I disliked really was the prologue guy's voice--it was annoying and not that great. Everything else--perfect.

We were interviewed even by the NY Times and were ranked better than Little Shop when it was on Broadway! Everyone that saw this show from outta state or town or even family said they felt like they were watching a Broadway show! We have more videos under PVPA, so check em out!
Damn! Bravo. Granted there were some errors the overall performance was fantastic. Wish I could have been involved in a production like this when I was that young.
my school is permorming this this year, and this is the best one i've seen so far, and it was amazing, i hope my school can pull it off as well as they did, but i think our vocals have the potential to be better.
i know it's supposed to be only the 3 of them, but i love how the director incorporated and ensemble. and, since im a freshmen and we're doing this this year, i might not get a part, because there's usually no ensemble. but i loved this opening! GO ENSEMBLE PEOPLE! and the three girls were really good, too.
Where did you guys get that modern arrangement? MTI as far as I know, only gives out the old arrangement for their shows. The newer version in this video is fuggin amazing.

...but if i were directing, id have them coming from the audience and dancing in the isles (our theater has three rows which would be perfectttt.
