In my channel, I have uploaded to YouTube Maestro Fischer's performance of Richard Wagner's Die Walküre Act I (with eminent Wagnerians Cheryl Studer, Hans Sotin and Poul Elming) that, for me, exemplifies much of what Fischer discusses here. It is music-making that leaps from the page, alive and unique. Currently, we eagerly await to listen to Fischer's recording with pianist Richard Goode of the five Beethoven piano concerti. Can't wait.
