The invisible jet isn't really invisible, is it? I mean, you know exactly where it is and, of course, if it is indeed invisible how wonder woman would know where the door is...?

i really love how Superman's punching comets, batmans riding a zipline, wonderwoman is flying an invisible jet, and aquaman is just riding a seahorse XD
hmm i use too want to watch this every night at grandmas when i spent the night now i seem too dont when there on utube now whats wrong wit me HELP!!!! um dont know really.
I consider The Wonder Twins, Gleek, and Windy Marvin and Wonderdog has comic relief. The animation was crude even by todays standards. They all had double chins, lol. Some of the best animation at the time was Tarzan - Lord of the Jungle, Spiderman and his Amazing Friends and The Incredible Hulk. Just my opinion.
Ted Knight was the announcer during the first season of the Superfriends with Wendy and Marvin. then Willam Woodson took over the rest of the series untill 1986 when it was cancelled. hope that clears it up for those wondering who the announcer was.
Ok I found this info on "Superfriends: Wikipedia about who the announcer was during the superfriends intros.
Notable voice actors
The commanding voice of the Narrator was provided by actor Ted Knight during the early hour-long episodes. His signature line was, Meanwhile, at the Hall of Justice! William Woodson took over once they dropped the original format.
wow im 36 now and when this show was on saturday mornings back in the late 70's an 80's i couldnt wait to watch it..now this is the REAL saturday morning right there! lol
Was not a bad show enjoyed it.....I knowed one guy who posted named "Reverned Syn" said Aquaman was jut lame since taking to fish is not so great...well maybe it is lame but then so is those two kids Wendy and Marvin who have NO powers whats so ever and ride around on bikes in each epoisode getting into trouble..and having the Superfriends bail them out of trouble..yet as a child growing up you don't care about such things, at that age is just fun to watch.
In fairness, its not merely that Aquaman can talk to fish (who cares?), but that they listen to what he tells them, and obey his commands. Being Emperor of all fish, sea mammals, and assorted aquatic life, both fresh and saltwater, is pretty damn good, I'd say. Too bad he was such a femme otherwise.
Actually, although Wonder Woman's powers have changed with time, if my memory serves me right, she's been able to fly for most of her history in comics. Aquaman, on the other hand, can't fly AFAIK.
you know, this is only like the 2nd or 3rd time I actually this intro in it's entirety.......I know I know odd as it may be.........also, I never put much stock into the scenes in the intros, even as a kid......I just knew I loved the characters, no matter what they were (or weren't) doing....that's the beauty of being a kid (from that era specifically)
Wow. Never saw that issue. Had a Jimmy Olsen comic where Clark Kent is lead away in kryptonite handcuffs his identity blown and Jimmy Olsen is clutching handfulls of dollars. The story was almost as it appeared on the cover, if memory serves me right.
Yeaaaaaaaaaaah!!!! great remembers!!! Here in Mexico this TV Show was aired between 1984 & 1985, with a great cast of dubbing actors in spanish from these ages!!!
Because talking to fish is such a vital, powerful weapon. "Hi Mr Guppy!"
Come on, he was a lame-o then and he's a lame-o now. The beard, hook, the attempt at a badass attitude and water hand couldnt change the fact. That is why he will always be a joke character. I think the only reason AM sticks around is that DC doesnt want to admit making him was a mistake, so they keep trying to reinvent him with new comics that always end up cancelled because everybody knows talking to fish is lame.
Just a symbolism thing. WW never actually fights that dragon in any episode. Nor do we see Aquaman ever command a legion of sea life like that. Sort of like how comic book covers are seldom accurate to what actually happens inside. Check out "Superman is a Dick" for examples how the covers, like this intro serve only as packaging to entice you to read/watch.
Yeah, I know what you mean. It IS pretty annoying sometimes. My favorite however was a giant Superman stomping Metropolis and Mxyzptlk saying something along the lines of. "Sorry folks, this scene, like most covers, doesnt actually happen in this issue. But with ME around it just MIGHT!" Which I thought was a nice poke at the industry.
This is actually PRE-Legion of Doom, not ''post'' as the description says.
But you're right about it being the 2nd season. Challenge of the Superfriends was the 3rd incarnation of the series. The version with Marvin, Wendy, and Wonder Dog was the first.
So much nostalgia
