@inaz1992 Technically the dancers we were MOST familiar with left in 1986. The last Season 6 episode aired 8/30/86 (which was just previously aired footage re-edited into a "new" episode). SOLID GOLD '87 premiered on Sept. 13,1986 with the new format, dancers, choreographer and Marilyn McCoo returning as host.

I voted before I looked at the other comments. Surprised the support that Nicole is getting but don't have a problem with it, especially if the support if for the Nicole of Season 5 (Dr. Jeckyl and Ms. Hyde)! Lezlie appeared in two seasons (four and five), and would have been my fourth choice. I thought Deborah would win easily from past comments but such is not the case.

Very nice work Jeff!! Lot of work went into this presentation. Thought the presenation for Darcel was one of her tamest (but elegant)! Kahea's video was her best..really liked that one. My vote:

Thanks for the kind words Gregg. I tried to use footage that I had not used (or used minimally) in other videos as to give a "fresh" view" plus trying to keep the segments equally timed, etc. That's why Darcel's piece is "tame", I had yet to use it for one of my videos but it was a couples dance and fit the time constraint. So many things to look at!!

I'm a fan of Darcel but always prefered the routines with Pam and Deborah. The third choice was hard because as much as I liked Kahea, she never had as much presence than the others. I was most impressed with Helene's clip because I don't remember such amazing dancing from her. Gayle bored me. Janeen had presence and style. I never ever liked the awkwardness of Chelsea.
