eva cassidy is a legend i have all her work and her voice is so versitile she makes every song her own i can honestly saqy she has never took a song and butchered it she makes it her own the woman is amazinly talented one of the most gorgeous voices of all time and she sings this amazing doesnt try and copy it or that she just sings it and perfect !rest in peace miss eva!

It feels like she could sing anything and give even more to each song if she wanted, but what (also) amazes me about her is that she only gives what the songs ask for... there are no excesses, no showing-off melismas or annoying vibratoes, etc. And yet, the tremendous impact of her singing is undeniable...That kind of vocalist you won't see very often...
