Dubai = a scorching sandbox full of tacky, mostly unoccupied towers built (poorly) by slave labor.

Chicago - a rich and diverse city with world-class architecture and cultural institutions in the beautiful midwestern prarie.

Not saying that Dubai can't be nice some day. But right now it's a construction site with few public amenities and nothing to do but shop or patronize Russian hookers.

@fafnir242 just so u know frank Lloyd wright from Oak park ,chicago designed a building that was very similar to the burj Khalifa dubai building it was gonna be built in chicago but once he died he couldnt build it and somebody else took the design
