no it's not. it's in the original key. tune your ears man. even that pluck chord he makes before the pause is perfectly in pitch. he probably got this entire thing 99% on point.

maybe you're used to playing the song a step lower cuz you cant hit the notes of the song when it's sung in the original key. a common thing guys who sing and play at the same time do nowadays. they're too damn chicken to hit the higher notes so they bring a song anywhere from 1/2 step to even 3 or 4 steps so they wont have to strain even just a little. tune your ears.
