  • whats a good board u would recomend for park and mt, i havea 2011 custom and i like it but i think im going to getthe roadsoda

  • why is blackcomb on the wrong side of the valley? and the writing is backwards? cant you do a switch front board? nice tips tho, been workin on a pretzel out this should help

  • @fukitzpukin It's mostly because filming, editing, and hitting everything twice is a lot of extra work and costs twice as much money. By mirroring the stuff we film we can help out both regular and goofy riders while focussing on producing more new content!

  • I wholy support 50-50 shuffle into boardslides in either direction. Glad to see it as the foundation of the lesson.

  • i feel like im going to slide out or catch an edge and crash any tips? should i try ot faster?

  • @yabudday121 It's definitely intimidating to put the board sideways on the rail the first couple times. Try doing 5050's and turning into your front board first, then slowly work your way up to sliding the whole rail in this position. Going faster can definitely make you feel more stable but don't go so fast that you're uncomfortable with the speed. Try it on some short, wide boxes first then move up to rails. Hope that helps!

  • You guys do an awesome job.. keep on posting videos. the more videos the better for your company.

  • @StocheneR Thanks! stay tuned on our website, lots of new stuff coming out.

  • I feel like I am going to catch my edge on the rail... any tips?

  • @runesr4nerds Keep your knees bent and look at the end of the rail. Practice riding flat based on the snow so you get used to putting even amounts of weight on your toes and heels. Hope that helps!

  • the rails has another sponser! obnetnin... buts be nintendos competition.. never heard of it tho..

  • whats easier frontside or backside for street styled boxes/rails (jump comes after rail/box starts)

  • u guys are realy awsome any tips on doing the same thing on round rails???

  • @smiley0970 All the same concepts apply! Round rails can be more intimidating but realistically they aren't much harder. It's all in your head. Approach it the same way, stay relaxed and you'll have no issues moving from a box to a rail!

  • @snowboardaddiction thanks for the help

  • Really helpfull tips! Btw amazing beat on background!

  • @merunm97 Glad it helped your shred!

  • @snowboardaddiction What is your board ? :)

  • @xJoseexVidzz It's a Burton Uninc from 2008(ish)

  • @snowboardaddiction ok thanks ;p

  • yup...long live the goof balls....but really the goal is to be fluid either way. sucka!....i say long live boarding! HEEEEEEY..its the same video but reversed..ha ha ha

  • yup...long live the goof balls....but really the goal is to be fluid either way. sucka!....i say long live boarding!

  • haha its not the same video hes doing it switch to you can tell by the steez an watch the 5050 to fb so what hes doin fb to 5050 naw come on

  • @MrJared333 ha ha ha..and here i was..."damn this dude has the same fuckin posture..he's dope...errrrr

  • Lol I just realized that this video is an exact mirror of their video for regular hahaha.

  • IM having trouble getting my weight forward and i keep slipping out

i stop on my toe edge alot so I kinda get that rotation picture but also the same board position so im on my toe edge when I land

    How do i fix that?

  • haha its the same as the vid for regulars except flipped backwards(look at nintendo box)

  • 4 that who dislikes this are regular and jealous of us!

  • i think that should be called a backside board because your going backwards down the rail or ledge just makes more sense to me

  • @motoguy40 i know right. fucked huh? but its like that for wakeboarding and skateboarding etc

  • @trickysticky6 ya but anyways great video and even better boarding keep it up man

  • @motoguy40 it depends on the position of the rail to your body if on the run up to the rail your back is facing the rail then its backside so backside and frontside have nothing to do with whatever trick you do on rails.

  • wheres your helmet ?

  • If you go on wikipedia snowboard tricks they saay that going on a rail straight is boardslide and going sideways on it is 50-50! Go check it out its bizzare

  • the suns setting in the east. what is this!!!!

  • @misticsnow the video is flipped lol from the regular

  • @hellslain i thought i was the only one who noticed that

  • Isn't that backside?? Or is it diffrent from spins?

  • @Olaipai yea its different from spins

  • @Kocktopus Yeah, I got it now. It's because you are approaching with the frontside before hitting the rail. Thnx dude.

  • @Olaipai no its frontside. going backwards is front and frontwards is backside. fucked but its how it is

  • @trickysticky6 Yeah, I know that. A guy around 4 months told me. Thanks anyway! Keep ridin'!

  • goofy for life

  • i still cant understand why people are regular it just does not make sense to me lol

  • goofy riders are the beste.......

  • 3 people havnt graduated from sledding

  • thank u sooooooooooo much soo helpful and its awesome how u do vids 4 regular and goofy riders

  • anybody notice that "snowboardaddiction" just posted this video in regular stance + regular video feed", and then for goofy, they just mirrored the video feed and called it goofy? i'm not complaining. i just think it's funny,

  • so i have a question... its kinda like you have one foot on the box and one off?

  • @DaSuperBalla yes, but it looks better when the box/rail is even between your feet. Most people find it easier learning them on one foot rather than the center of their board, however, it all comes down to personal prefrence.

  • @pixaman56 thank you for the help :)

  • where is this filmed?

  • lol@onlockdown.

  • Whistler = Amazing

  • omg...nbb

  • hey anyone got any tips cause in know how to do a 540 and today i got 630 down but not a 720 so any tips for 720?

  • this is the best tut ever, i did exactly what he said just practice on a little flat box for a while then you can graduate to longer flat boxes/ down boxes

thank you for helping me stomp a new trick

  • what mountain do u ride on

  • 2:56 "look at my ass!"

  • this is frontside.

  • GRINDING/SLIDES are named differently than JUMPS/SPINS.

  • isn't this backside?

  • this is a backside

  • No!! dumbass -.-

  • what the fuck, learn to ride, it's a frontside, dumbass. it count the side you approach the rail for olling on it

  • I love these videos. cant get any more info than this. 5 outta 5 fo sho.

  • i can swear thats backside

  • Comment removed

  • No it would be frontside for skateboard to, idiot.

  • Comment removed

  • wat is the song

  • thanks man. helped me alot.

  • ugh doesnt matter if your goofy or not, jesus, your doing the same thing just switched. why did you put for goofy? is it that hard to do the same thing just different feet?!!?! wtf

  • It's easier for goofy riders to copy his body movement...

Else you have to mirror it in your head and it's harder to follow

  • ok : D thanks

  • Song ???

  • first song is way i are by timbaland

second is touch the sky by kanye

  • Nice vid :D

    what is the songs name??

  • thanks, great tutorial!

  • itsn t that a backside boardslide? cuz ur back is faceing first?

  • no its frontside

its just screwed up like that

  • thank u very much for this vid, its exactly what beginners need

  • not only did this help me with snowboarding but with skateboarding too ;D

  • first nice tick tip second why the hell am i watching this when ive been able to do these for like 2 years

  • because you probably havent anyone who can would brag about it because its not an insane trick worth braging about.

  • its not.. but you still get a real good feelin after pulling of a clean boardslide :)

  • yea i kno i just dont kno why someone would try and be a dick bragging about it to make other people feel bad.

  • lol no clue

  • sweet thanks

  • thanks for all tutorials

    i like snowboardaddicton

  • Thats awsome that you show tips in goofy as well!!

  • they just mirror the footage ha ha what a good idea!

  • wut is the name of this song

  • touch the sky- Kayne west

  • Love the vid. Might buy all tutorials.

This is frontside because your angle of approach has your body facing the rail hence the word front side as someone stated below by someone else

  • whats the song?

  • love the way this is just a mirrored version of the regular vid!

  • goooooooooooofy rider 4 life

  • hells yeah!

  • @tonyhawksacriminal YESSSSS mate

  • @tonyhawksacriminal not goofy i think switch :)

  • @mrpopcornable even better :)

  • is it true that there are no backside boardslides?

  • no.

  • it is bs boardslide but just called it a boardslide and people should instictivly think that its a backside unless you say frontside....

    Glad to help man

  • mmmm i love front boards

  • great simple explanation

  • This is awsome. But i like have my left foot in the front when railing but it's alot harder to do it but i have so much better balance

  • THANKS IVE SEARCHED SOO MUCH!! Finnaly a Goofy vid :P Only that the video is just flipped :P Goofy broos

  • 1:14 powerslide!

  • im goffy too

  • haha the whole video is just fliped left to right

    3:09 'odnetniN'

  • lol goofey or regular doesnt matter. you can spin cab just as easy you idiot

  • dude i love being goofy its awesome

  • i love being goofy cuz you can spin cab SOOOO easy

  • yeaaa im goofy not many of us

  • yeeeeah!this is better becost i am goofy...

  • not bad broski

  • cool vid!!!

some nice dance moves at 1:50

  • where is this??

  • whistler

  • i learned frontside first... i could do em all day long..backslides i could do..but i didnt as much.

  • This video is pimp! this guy knows his shit i only wish the mountain i go to had nice ass boxes like that!

  • i lean back too far on back 3's too but you can see your landing way better than front 3's

  • whats easier, frontside or backside?

  • backslide aka boardslide is useually what ppl learn first as its easier to balence and see where your going

  • i hate backsides because i always lean back

  • but they're still a lot easier than frontsides.

  • not to me

    lol

    backs are steezeer

  • I'm learning to start doing turns, which one should i learn first? Backside or Frontside??

  • great video also...thanks.

  • the best frontside boardslide trik tip video I have ever come across. good job. poor english :) (no offense, I´m not native speaker and I like american pronounciation).

  • i like his accent better then american

  • hes a kiwi...aka from New Zealand

  • I snowboard and believe me this video helped me a lot!!!! I ride goofy n it was really hard 2 learn 2 turn for me(dunno why) but thanx 2 this i can now ride fucking good!!!

  • no kidding

frontside is when your board spins the first 90 degrees and is facing forward or backward down the hill. hence frontside or backside. this video is a backside board, whether goofy or regular. this applies to spins too

  • whoops take out the "...or backward down the hill" part

  • u suck balls

  • this video is right. on grinds frontside or backside is determined by whether the front side or back side is facing the rail when you approach it.

  • well done...awesome video

  • haha lol... that's the same video as regular, but with a mirror effect (easily seen when looking at the Nintendo logo on rails) Great idea making it both sides; as a snowboard instructor I know it really helps to have a good visual support. And the trick tip covers everything, it's great.

  • That was an excellent video. I like how you guys covered every aspect of the trick, from ways to get on, to kinked rails. That was a really awesome trick tip video and I think that it definatley deserves more views. Thanks a lot I will be sure to try some of those today when I head out to the hill.

  • I love how for both goof and reg its the same dude.

    switching it up

  • no this is most definetly frontside because you come up to the rail on your toe edge thus facing it... your back is not towards the rails like a backside boardslide... but man great trick tip

  • thanks for helping to clarify for others

  • then its different for skateboarding right?

  • no same as skateboarding

  • im pretty sure thats backside boardslide

  • I know it's a bit confusing, but this vid is all frontside boardslides. Frontside is the hard way, sliding backwards.

  • No your right, this is backside, not frontside.

If this was skateboarding, then it would be frontside.

  • this is frontside, buddy.

Originally, it was called a frontside boardslide (frontboard), because you were on your frontside (toe) edge.

then skateboarding and little groms fucked it up

  • same board.burton un inc

  • Lol how you mirror the movie to make it goofy! Great tut, like the others in your channel!

  • Thanks nev, it's andrew, can't wait might be able to chek out ur camp

  • Really helpful and informative!
