  • This one is shorter than the original what was cut out?

  • aww...poor Frank

  • 3:55 how did he get a sedan on there?!?!

  • What is the easist to use for animations like this 1?

  • @TheD736 First the animations are created in a 3D program, like Softimage, Maya, 3ds Max, Blender etc. Then they are exported to the Source engine and added into the map using Faceposer and Hammer.

  • MAAP

  • The Machinima upload of this sucks, the sound is like 2x faster than the video... Rofl

  • @CGS165 yeah, the first version on Machinima's channel got screwed up somehow but they put up a revised version that is fixed. just search youtube for "Galaxy Gulp Revised", its the same video as this one

  • @CGS165 It's not that the sound is 2x as fast as the video, the real problem is that the video is half as fast as it should be. The sound is at normal speed. :P

  • "You're so hollow..." In other words, she wants some dick. xD.

  • OMG YES THANK YOU!!! A non laggy version!!

  • Does anyone know exactly where to get the map for galaxy gulp? I would very much appreciate it.

  • lmao at 5:08

  • Poor guy, he has a lotta bones but he cannot have a boner...

  • @MarioSnail007 heh heh. DigitalFear, eat your heart out.

  • If it was somehow possible to upload weed onto youtube....it would look like this video.

  • "You can't make anything if you don't put it in."

    That's what she said. :D

  • man, his most famous work is Freeman's Mind

  • soo random :)

  • wow thats cool, what tools did you use hammer?

  • hahaha love it!

  • 1:21 i just noticed that was a antlion >_>

  • Man, I wish I lived at Galaxy Gulp. Beautiful view of space, interesting drama, money advice (because I need it), and a high chance of seeing a Scotish Dwarf being shot out of a cannon. Why can't real life be like this?

  • Word cannot describe how I feel after watching this.

  • i find it odd how ross scott can get from HL1 HL2 and not loss ideas...

  • thank you for uploading a version that isn't disgustingly choppy

  • I want to download this map

  • @war9001zomg So do I. Maybe whoever made the map can upload it.

  • So this is mainly just a video showing what the tutorials are capable of doing?

  • The skeleton sounds like a real douche :)

  • Dude this is tight

  • @ Noesis - Can you buy these DvD's in a store?

  • wasn;t Ross Scott The Maker Of Freemen's Mind?

  • Indeed. And still is.

  • ya and civil protection

  • @FrozerLaxegon

i think he also made war of the servers, but hey your all wellcome to callbullshit, tbh i dont have a clue :D

  • @FrozerLaxegon And Civil Protection, the show with one of the longest production time for a single episode (over a year...and it still isn't released).

  • sooo um im cunfused you guys make tutorials on the source engine..........then whut are the games that use source engin like that skeleton and the dwarf OR did you make them weth source engine

  • Correct, we make tutorials that show you how to work with the Source game engine (and now the Unity engine too!)

Some of the characters in Galaxy Gulp are from existing video games (like Half-Life 2) and some were custom created by us for this project (the skeleton, dwarf, robot, and woman). We modeled, rigged, and animated the characters in 3d programs such as XSI and Maya and then brought them into the Source engine to create and record the final movie.

  • so would i be able to use thise program? and if so would i have to pay?

  • @noesisinteractive Really? I thought the skeleton was in Episode 2. He was in the back of a truck.

  • Supposed 2 be a demo...

  • WTF!!??
