@Nitewolf71 George Orwell only confirmed what I've already known by my own experince. Live is long but how long are the hundreds thousands of incarnations...:)
@Nitewolf71 I disagree . I listened to a lot of slavonic music and this sounds about right to me. There could be some small similarities with celtic or germanic folk.
Everybody has one's taste of course. :) As a finn I share a musical culture of east and west. Both are very recognizable to me. This sounds musically "perfect-5" -style, which is the old western european sound. Slavish music then again is richer in chords, cos playing is mainly minor chords.
@Nitewolf71 This is what official history tells us. But it ignores archeological findings and linguistic researches. According to them Russian language is the most ancient language on the Earth. Many inscriptions on stones in ancient ritual places in Europe were made in Russian.
What is your age? If less that 15, ask your parents or teacher to tell you about the truth. If you don't have parents or teachers to tell you about it, read books. If you don't have books, you obviously have net. :) But remember, due to all respect, fishes who end up in net are eventually dead.
2. Regarding to books... Have you ever read "1984" by George Orwell? Having read it, one can understand zero utility of all the vast amount of historical books.
3. No one can tell you the truth. Because when you ask a teacher about it, you can ask also, from where have you got this information? He's got it from his teacher, of course. And his teacher has got it from his own teacher. In such way we'll get to the source.
...Usually, source is a part of an ancient chronicle or some archeological finding and some conclusion made upon it.. But who told you that this is the truth? You can't check it. On the contrary, Control System is not interested in people knowing the truth. It is very-very simple logic: controlling a man who knows less or is mistaken is much easier. I know it by myself because I have some people under my supervision at work.
So George Orwell tells you how to think - negative or positive - you just ruined your own particular and personal way of thinking about no one being capable for telling the truth. About history, buildings with technology tell enough. My intention was not to advice you in any way. Live long and prosper, my friend. :)
If we are picky enough... Rus' is actually not the same as Russia...it's quite older than that, and it's involving more places than the current russian borders. The song it's still one of my favourite songs from Arkona. Slav'sya russkaya dusha!
Shortly: Original "Russia, Rusland" was the area of Novgorod about 1000 years ago. People of those times had no idea of name rus as more than they had idea of ppl living around Sibir.

are you sure that the full name of the song is "Be Famous, Russia"... isnt "Be glorious, Russia ?
HotabichDOTNagaroth 5 months ago 7
@HotabichDOTNagaroth yes, it is more suited
Vitub1 5 months ago
@Vitub1 No, more like "Be Glorified Rus" The verb "slavsya" is in a future continuous tense, if that makes any sense..
