  • Interesting :) keep working on it. I have seen a great many things and they do work. The problem is with the people using it and being able to afford it ,because the people sure can't usually ,but if u can figure out a way for them to be able to afford it then your good!

  • sir with due respect.. i want to talk to you personaly.. would u conversate with me...

  • this is great idea, well you can play a lot with this , for example you can start to use a boiler to fill it up with water n have good pressure in it, then you get even better to forward the pressure come out from the pipes, ; ) or maybe you can store good pressure in a boiler or something and then you simply close and when you want to run the pump simply you open the high pressure water from the reservoir ...........good luck anyway and thanks for sharing us

  • Please ansmwer this : I started looking for that 165 GPM 1.5hp 60psi pump....

I coudn't find any. I looked allover the internet NOTHING,

is that even possible 165 GPM with his little pump ?!!

  • @s9srider ----- He is using a Torperdo 10000 you can look it up ,,,(Google) "Calpump",,,,, Click on about Calpump......Look for pumps, Click Torpedo pumps, Look for model.T10000.

  • @lanblan4 So that's another way to say that some of our most highly held laws of physics involving energy are flawed if not at least misinterpreted right? If so I agree, along with the others above!

  • @818doodooroo

while there is nothing to be done for energy loss through friction and so forth, there are ways to overcome it. With your car, do you cry and go live in a cave when you run out of gas or do you fill it back up? If even 5 seconds of hand cranking topped this up where it would produce 60 watts for the next hour.... that would be well worth it. You could generate the "topup" power with a tiny solar panel or even tesla's ionosphere generator. so many options, too many noobs.

  • @Grimganker you are right and i was wrong. thank you

  • Interesting, but..... All he did was find the perfect median between energy usage and energy consumption to keep the machine running for a semi-lengthy amount of time. The machine, however, would inevitably slow to a stop eventually. If you pay close attention to the sound of the RPMs towards the end of the video you can already detect a noticeable decrease in the rotation frequency.

As much as I wish this were true, Einstein and Newton got it right the first time guys. Sorry.

  • @BenightedEmpire Secondly, that was just the device "running itself" as he claimed. Now imagine if you started to pull even slightest amount of "generated" energy from it. The same thing that happens when more load is put on the alternator of a running car when the panel lights start to dim.

  • @BenightedEmpire

He was, with the lightbulb. Even with parasitic energy loss, this is pretty damn cool. Keep in mind, this system could be refined quite a bit if you had a budget. Looks like this was put together by one guy with a thousand dollar budget.

Secondly, if you take any energy generating device to its end... the lights go out.. period. No coal, no uranium, no oil.. etc , so no need to nay say as this is an eye opener to possibility which no matter how you cut it.

  • visit free-energy-info.co.uk

  • Marty, when this baby hits 88 miles per hour... you're going to see some serious shit

  • Hi, its amazing its visible true on my theory hey dude if itz true and not fake you are thozen one so great job

  • i clicked this hopeing to see a bunch of chineese children biking lol jk nice video

  • hi, nice work. did you invent this machine? if yes, are you a mechanical engineer or what??

  • It's running on the momentum that you started, if it accelerated AFTER you removed the external power source- and you could prove it, you might have something.

  • @ParadoxPerspective That can only be eyeballed right now, but keep in mind it was also powering a lightbulb..

  • Excellent

  • If you get the contraption going with electricity, then it certainly has a certain amount of momentum. He shut it off before the momentum ran out. Or, his amazing discovery generated the ire of the big energy companies and the ordered a hit on him.

  • Dude, make safe connections at a safe distance from that water!!

You'll just need cable and switches, smart guy!!!

    Safety first!!!

  • Hey, very very nice ! How long does it take until the machine stops running ? Or does it not even stop running ? Would be very revolutionary. But you should cover the slot with the water :D

  • good job pointing hose down makes pump most efficient

  • good job pointing your hose down makes pump very effectient

  • Fuking brilliant brother....

  • pretty cool man ..iv seen alot of these videos and i always see post like my degree says its fake or thermo dynamic this and that or thell just post something from there text books but wheres there shit ...im not saying that shits gonna run forever either buts it still pretty neat...even if you got it to run forever the goverment will bomb your house anyways along with your machine and blame it on the taliban or something...

  • pretty cool man ..iv seen alot of these videos and i always see post like my degree says its fake or thermo dynamic this and that but wheres there shit ...im not saying that shits gonna run forever either buts it still pretty cool shit ...even if you got it to run forever the goverment will bomb your house anyways along with your machine and blame it on the taliban or something...

  • He never put out the other video like he said..the one with the plexiglass & stuff. I bet money that he left it running over night or something...then it quit running on it's own after a while. What do you think??

  • A year later and im still watching this vid. One of the few that actually work quite well. I need to hurry and just build one myself. I wonder how many it would take to run my house?

  • Wheres the godam water-pump vid gone ?

  • @deepcut71 YA !!! Were'd it go !!! People want to know!!!

  • @waterwart

Go to his channel, the vid is there, it's all good :)

  • @deepcut71 No dude..it ain't "all good". That video is the exact same at this one. No casters, no long term running..and if you'd have watched it you would have known.

  • @waterwart

we are thinking of different videos then.

  • If anything, the "Establishment" is not looking for energy solutions. It's only looking how it can make a buck and keep the public enslaved to "their offerings": gasoline, coal generated electricity, dependent on "them". The concept is actually simple, but its money and time that most regular people don't have much of. It's a matter of time before the big energy crisis becomes a "history" and the general public builds their own "off-the-grid-energy" generators.

  • How much over unity does this produce? Could it drive 2 pumps? More? Has it been measured as to what amount of draw starts to effect the voltage; i.e. when the circuit is about to become overloaded the voltage will start to drop off as more current is demanded on the load. So if the test was done to keep adding current draw until voltage begins to drop off you know how much over unity this can provide. You could use simple light bulbs and add a bulb one at a time until drop off occurs.

  • If the device only powered itself, it would be at least 100% efficient. But since it also produces power for the light bulb, this makes it as "COP = > 1" (even if just a little). It proves the principle but doesn't look so practical since it is quite an apparatus just to light a small bulb. If you could scale it up to produce several kilowatts (or more) it could provide energy for a home for starters. Good job!

  • You snapped with this machine dude! Too bad government wont let this one out! They will simply steal your idea, and tell you not to ever use it again. Free energy?! Big money guys won't be so thrilled... You are one clever guy tho...

  • so is that a the power it makes is just that one light or will it produce more power than that

  • Or how about a solar panel that runs a light bulb?

Or how about just a solar panel?

  • I am not sure I quite get this but from what I've seen is that you use energy to power the pump so you aren't really getting energy, you are wasting it because it takes so much to power the pump and in exchange u get a well lit light O.o

  • Get a bracket to hold it at that angle you want.

  • Oh yes layseylo if your water wheel had more" paddles of buckets" as it were it would turn much faster.I design" Rotor and Stator Blades" for "Jet aircraft and Steam Power Plants" and if you need some help or advice on some "Blade Designs" just drop me a note. :-)

  • Man you could put out a" House Fire" with that pump and hose, could you not?. LOL :-)

  • ive said this before , by all means keep experimenting , you may stumble on something new and undiscovered but what you have here is a kinetic battery of sorts ,

  • Not sure if this would work or not, but it would be very cool.

  • That would be very cool if you added a handle at the end of the shaft (the water chamber end) with some gears, so you can hand crank it to start it instead of having to plug it in for a little bit. I think it would be safer, and you would also be able to use this device when you lose your power becouse you can start it by just cranking it. The gears can multiply the rotation of the shaft so the generator will turn many times faster then what you are actually cranking.

  • I tell ya what.

Spend a little money and build this out of plexi glass or old fish tanks so we can see there are no power input cables.

  • This is perfectly possible, the trick is obtaining the desired RPM. I did this at home with a generator and a motor but they burned out because they just kept spinning faster and faster, we had to make a run for it.

The wheel turns that in turns makes the generator produce electricity, that electricity powers the pump the pump then squirts water on the wheel and keeps it turning, its a closed loop circuit. There is a law that says an object will continue to move unless acted upon by friction.

  • By the way, I have a patent on file for this idea but you are welcome to perfect it.

  • total genius man.. its like u olved a way ive been thinking about for awhile... great visuals too. lets talk!

  • Dude, let it run for a few hours and see what happens.

  • Put up a webcam so we can see it run all the time. you can't proove perpetual motion in a 3 minute video clip.

  • DUDE.. if anything. Be safer.. your going to fry yourself..

  • It is well known that there can be negative energy densities in quantum field theory. Most of the work done in this area has involved free non-interacting systems. In this paper we show how a quantum state with negative energy density can be formulated for a Dirac field interacting with an Electromagnetic field. It will be shown that, for this case , there exist quantum states whose average energy density over an arbitrary volume is a negative number with an arbitrarily large magnitude.

  • It has been shown that there exist quantum states with less energy than the vacuum state for QED in the temporal gauge. In fact there is no lower bound to the energy of quantum states. If an initial state interacts with properly applied classical fields then it is possible to extract an arbitrarily large amount of energy from the initial state. The classical fields that were applied in this article are mathematical objects that are not assumed to correspond to real physical objects.

  • He lets the unit get up to speed, the generator is also spinning up to speed, the power required to spin up the generator alone could power the light bulb for the length of time it is shown in the video. Capacitors are also most likely on the generator providing additional storage capacity. I am not sure of the wattage of the bulb, but am very sure of the physics involved. I won't say PM is impossible, the earth's spin, and the sun are two examples of relative PM's.

  • The pump (Cal Pump) uses substantially more watts at start up than at operating speed depending on load. So 1000+ watts at start up and then that energy is stored in the inertia of the motor and the water stream. This (extra stored energy) is enough to run the pump with no load, until the stored energy is depleted. Spin a bicycle wheel and watch how long it takes to slow down. Same concept different mechanical display of the energy.

  • Have you considered using a Tesla turbine in place of the water wheel? It's possible that it would boost efficiency.

  • but to take that same technology and duplicate for mass production, have it affordable, and have the tools and supplies necessary to continue to duplicate something like this in large quantity would require much more, this is why we have automotive industry and why we pay man as skilled in engineering as this man for example to be automotive engineersbut I must say that is a great personal toy

  • The fact is that now that the engineering knowledge to build these machines have common accessibility but are not of common understanding make it a problem, the average engineer of a leading car company could build engines that run on salt water with an astronomically low usage of fuel and could go as fast as the land speed record for a machine on wheels

  • It might be a hoax, and it may not, however your arguments are not very convincing.

    "

When he starts it up the water drives it clockwise as it should as you watch it speeds up a little then changes to ANTI clockwise driven by the motor.

    "

    .....

If you know ANYTHING about wheels this should be obvious to you.

    "

Generators do not have start and run capacitors on them only MOTORS do.

    "

But a specially modified generator can, there''s nothing weird about it. Energy storage, power delay etc...

  • waterwart; I asked James the same question when I went down to his house for a demonstration along with four other people. He told me that under a load it runs about 25 minutes befor the Generator overheats. He ran the machine for about 10 minutes for us.

  • Dude, how LONG will that thing run like that. You have been asked before, and I see you didn't answer. We would like to know. Cause if you can run it all day like that well then it might be worth looking into. But if it runs a little while and then it peters out, well then it ain't worth messin with. See? So how long will that thing run like that???????????????

  • brillant work

  • Hi, Neat idea, Could you tell us the make and model of the turbo pump you are using? Thanks

  • (Google) "Calpump",,,,, Click on about Calpump......Look for pumps, Click Torpedo pumps, Look for model.T10000.

  • Great idea. even if it runs for one minute its enough to offset cost somewhere. you need to hook it to a circute that detects voltage and amp loss after its unpluged. Then when it drops to lest say 75 volts, the circuit will turn back on using the houses voltage till it brings the volts to like 120 or more then when it drops againg it will use the houses power once more. Great Job.

  • Superb thinking my friend I was also thinking of using a microcomputer to administrate all this

  • 110V ?? 220V??

  • how long will this device run on producing its own electricity to run the water pump??? have you added more lights???

  • Thanks I look forward to seeing it.. I would love to have something like this as everyone else for total off grid living.

    Thanks don

  • Any Updates on the new video.

    Thanks Don

  • It may well run the pump and a bulb, the momentum of the water providing quite alot of force on the pelton wheel, the only problem will come when you start adding a load to the generator,it will require far more force to turn it and will slow,as it slows the output drops and will no longer be able to provide enough force of water via the pump to keep the pelton wheel turning at a high enough speed.Good little project though,it wont run continously as is,due to energy loss,it may run for an hour.

  • The government is going to get their hands in this, you watch, through taxes restrictions whatever, its all about control, oh I am sounding cynical aren't I?

  • the key is the capacitors, they store energy from the initial start up.

  • There must be something I am missing, but from what I understand, the water from the pump turns the shaft, the shaft power goes into the generator, the generator converts the mechanical energy of the shaft into electrical energy, which then powers the pump.

So, where is the excess energy coming from? - the pump - or the generator

  • I am wondering how the water is hitting the wheel cause it look like it is running backwards from the way the water looks like it is hitting the peddles. It looks like the water is spraying downwards and the wheels is moving like the water would if it was spraying up. Any Idea why it looks that way?

  • Never mind. The same reason car tires look like they are moving backwards

  • I think its just because the camera is probably 24 or so frames per second, but the wheel is going a bit faster, probably 40-50 rpm. This gives the illusion of rotating backwards.

  • That and tire cars look like they are moving backwards as well. So I figure it is just an optical elusion

  • Since it only ran for a brief period after it was unplugged, I'm wondering if there was a build up of air pressure in your water line, which enabled it to operate for a small time interval after your AC power was disconnected.

  • Power in = power out + inefficiencies

  • well its been 3 months now. seems like a long time to re-shoot a new video. if it really worked the way you had it before, forget the improvements and put it in the same condition as the original...then make a new video.

  • Dont use metal, use lighter material. Get a bigger Flywheel.

This machine dose not run on its own, i can tell friction is slowing it down. But where friction comes, you will manage with lightweight material. Construct the fly wheel and the paddle wheel and the Bar... Maybe use some sort of elastic tention on your belt- But I agree about the paddles, try constructing better ones...

Everything to the smallest detail helps. You have become the first person who has attempted perpetual energy-

  • so it begins like:

grid > pump > flywheel > light bulb

    then it goes

    flywheel > light bulb/pump > flywheel > etc

Isn't this perpetual motion? Honestly all I think you guys are doing here is storing a bit of energy in that flywheel. That will then slow down as energy is lost through friction...

  • I want to see load specifications.

What's the purpose of the flywheel if it stops spinning as

    soon as you unplug it?

I want to see the water flow redirected away from the paddle

wheel to stop the motion instead of yanking the power cord.

I want to see it work in a transparent container from every

possible viewing angle far away from questionable objects.

  • Why use a water pump? Why not compressed air? Why use either? Why not just power up a motor that spins the generator... thus bypassing the waterfall? This appears to be nothing but smoke and mirrors. I suppose gerbils are too much maintenance? Why do you need financing? Sell the one you have, then build two... Sell those two, then build four, etc. But build it out of something better than plywood!!
  • Thanks for the update!

Hopefully you have resolved your paddle problem.

  • The deviced was plugged in for 34 seconds, during which time, it stored up kinetic energy. Then it ran unplugged for 1 min 12 sec. It could easily have run this way for at least a few minutes on stored kinetic energy, just like a flywheel. A flywheel can run for days on stored energy. It would need to run for a very long time, at least overnight, to prove that it is really over unity.

  • try pelton wheel, UU shaped cups. water hits the center of them and sorta doubles back.

may improve output so can power something else..

would like to see if it could , maybe charge batteries? or....

  • This is great! imagine houses powering their own electricity! wow! energy can be created!

  • HI!! Hey, good luck on getting the word out on this awesome invention! Way to go!! I added the video to my myspace page, maybe we can get it more exposure! Keep in touch and let me know how its going.....I love u brother!

    Your sister, June

  • triple the number of padels on your water wheel will be a huge improvement on torque

    and speed.

have a machine shop make you a set of pulleys

to run a 6 rib serptine belt with a tensnor.

it will grip much better then that V belt.

hook up some kind of meter, im sure the pump and light blub is useing power, would be nice to know how much your making.

hook up a series of light bulbs on a 2X4 to turn them on one at a time untill you use 100% of power load your making.

  • Brilliant. Keep perfecting this and you will rule the world. Applications would be endless especially in developing countries and if it can be made on a larger scale commercial users would be knocking down your door. I think if you toyed with the nozzling (more direct spray) and streamlined the interface of the paddles (shape) you could increase dramatically the RPM and really keep it humming. Good luck to you and do not let any scammers try to help out you in getting this to market.

  • I just hope if you cant find investors for the device that you will just release the information on how to build it for everyone. It seems so simple even if you manufactured them people would just buy one then copy it and make their own, so I dont see how you will make a large amount of money on it, with that being said you could probably make the most money just doing public speaking on the device if it actually works

  • would that have enough power to run a well pump so you could wash a car?

  • all i got is 12 inch pulleys i saved from some junk i scrapped! man i sure got a lotta junk around here. the other night i fell over a junk lawnmower in the dark on my way to the house, ouch! that hurt.

  • scientist have a way of screwing up big time!

    oh well! they're humans too!

  • Surely the more power you use then the less you have for the pump, so say i did want to run my tv on that, wouldnt you need equipment, also as soon as you lose some power you cant get it back unless you plug it into the mains?

im not discourging you just pointing stuff out.

    hope you reply

  • WELL DONE!!!! forget they ney sayers on here. science says this isn't possible. a long time ago, science also said the earth was flat, then science said the universe orbits around the earth, then science said man will never fly, i could go on, but you get this idea.

keep up the good work, look at sealing the water bath at some point so you don't lose water to splash, and also a more effecient water wheel, things i'm sure were already in the works.

  • I wonder if this would run my computer for hours! what do you think?

  • be carefull and don't get fried!

  • Where can I grab one of those 18" pulleys is my question.

Another thing, if it could power my fridge and keep my food cold, then count me in. Otherwise the bulbs are nice, but that large unit for bulbs won't cut it on the consumer end.

Your almost there with the concept, but over all you have a long way to go. There is more to this design than you think, but it requires storing the water first then using the head-pressure, etc.

    Regards, --S--

  • Washing machine

  • have you tryed it under a load? other than just a light bulb?

  • hey!

  • This is a simple perpetual machine with a pump driving an inefficient water wheel to drive a generator to make electricity to drive the pump and light a few light bulbs. A nice concept IF it really works as described. That is highly unlikely as a video is not proof of concept.

  • I can not imagine any other explanation than centrifugal force from a frictionless hose in the right, bent/curve. Energy is gained from such loop. The flow uses the force from the loop in the hose, like G-force, adding thus to the entry speed. The diameter compared to the entry velocity is cricital in order to have little friction, but enough power to get it through the loop causing the right internal pressure of the flow. Normally a loop will straighten. Now this force is being supplied.

  • I will be making a new video with the machine up on caster wheels and the machine will run while I am walking around it 360 degrees. There will also be better lighting, longer running time and the machine will be in the middle of the room to demonstrate that there are no hidden wires or compartments. Additionally, the video will also show an update on the pump. I'm sorry I haven't written sooner, but I have been swamped with emails.

    Sincerely,

    James Hardy

  • @layseylo James..simple yes or no answer please...just take the time to answer....DID you ever build another one (on casters)? And two, DID it stay running say for more than 24 hours? It's been over a YEAR James. People want to know. Think of all the help you could do just letting people know.

  • @layseylo The only hidden compartment you need would be inside the motor you allready said was modified. The only way you can prove any thing is to completely dismantle the machine on camera once you have showen there is no hidden battery or capacitor or any thing then and only then can any one take you seriously.

  • Nice video, but it seems you were a bit too eager to shut the system down. Why not put the unit out side in the driveway, and let it run for a while? And get some switches put on instead of trying to unplug and plug each time.

  • If and when he gets this to work properly ... and if and when he gets a patent on this inventions ... the oil barons will promptly determine his address, and he will then be shortly "heart attaked" or "suicided".

Alternate forms of energy will NOT be allowed, oil profits must be maintained at all costs.

  • hehe ..your a funny guy

or was this a more desperate 'broke and looking for a more cash than sense investor' type situation ??

Afraid you'll need to do better than this to convince some, youll need to give a very clear 360° view, and make the lightbulb fade,at the least.

But its a cool vid idea, you probably got a few perp-mo chasers all flustered for a while there lol

  • How long does it run before it stops? It appears to be gradually slowing down before it is manually stopped.

  • I can't make any technical suggestions, but please put this out on the driveway, in the sunlight, and walk around it with the camera to put any doubt to rest on authenticity. If this reslly does work the way it seems to,you have A LOT to be proud of. I want to believe it, so I will say congrtulations, amazing job.

  • awesome job!

  • Nice Work!

What kind of submersible pump does 160GPM? What brand are you using?

  • i wonder if that turbo motor has a tesla turbine in it???

  • Put it on caster wheels and roll it into the driveway. divert water like that other person said to shut it off. And a 8 minute video of it running while walking around it 360 degrees. Sorry but theres a lot to doubt in this.

  • easy test:

    (forget the light bulb here)

    - measure the amount of power is used to get it up and running.

    - let it run for as long as it can run till it stops from itself (might take hours)

and you will pretty much get out how much or little friction you have in your system. I it is bound to stop, it is just a question of how long it will take to stop.

  • Can we have the specs and make of the pump and the generator ?

And what modifications were made in the generator?

It is very important that people replicate this and prove it independently.

    Thanks and all the best.

  • Why go with United States Patent? You could set up to manufacture them your self now with out Patent Politics. sell them hand made, and develop it as you sell it. I think You would be better off If you Open source them

    How much does that cost?

Do you have a Kit I can Buy?

    Do you have a website?

If this is real That is real great work!

  • You should have the device free standing and well lighted for the video AND please deviate the water path to shut device off. - Suggestion.

  • Very nice,

    please come to

    overunityDOTcom

    and explain it in detail.

Is this a special pump you designed, that needs only low electrical input power ?

    Many thanks.

    Regards, Stefan.

  • Couple of suggestions, use a switch to change over from your mains connection and then unplug the mains totally.

Or... Even better, drive the generator up to speed with a separate handheld motor, this could be an electric drill or angle grinder with a rubber wheel fitted.

Builder a smaller bench version?, with standard parts for replicators.

  • Not trying to discount what you have done at all...but could you please show a video of where the plugs are coming from. Because I am wanting to make sure you are not just taking it from one wall plug to another before I build it..Thanks

  • Self runs and lights a bulb...........Hummmm,

Damn. That home made pelton has to be the worst I have ever seen but.....it works!!!

  • cool i like it good job
