i ride bulls in louisiana and i met him in 2002 and he was a really nice guy
when he died in 05' i was at his awake in bilioxi mississippi i was one of 46 people invited to go and he gave me his spurs off his boots in 02' and i still have them to this day
"jump while he's movein tip ur hat boys and walk away" thats great advice for life cuz when life gets tough jump while he's movien tip ur hat and walk away amen to that who agrees?
@MrCowboy95 the other side of the hill u know the down sloped side to where his cadilac dont blow its engine only and idiot or and asshole would say something like that wich are you
@hyded100 im prety sure he is talking about goin from slc to cheyenne. hes talking about the sisters on I-80. dont know if you've ever been but they are huge hills
@hunterteamroperchamp How old are you then? (Not trying to be a creep, im only 14) I remember when he died. But i didnt think it was a very long time ago.
takes me back to the smell of burnt diesel, a crazy rodeo clown, and the sound of round pen panels being kicked by horses. wearing wranglers a pair of tony lamas and a cowboy hat. now thats life.
@TheCountryman20 March 9, 2005, in 2000 he was diagnosed with primary sclerosing cholangitis had a liver transplant a few months later then in 2004 he was diagnosed with cholangiocarcinoma
I'm a metal head but this guy i love i used to listen to this when i worked cattle stations years ago and still do, true fucking legend R.I.P Chris your music will live for ever
i didnt have a coupe de ville, i have a 68 cadillac series 75 fleetwood limo with a trailer hitch haulin a two horse side by side bumper pull, that 472 doesnt chugalug up a hill it hauls! the back seat is like a couch and it has a trunk big enough for three saddles and all the tack. what a rodeo rig!!!
My "bride to be" didn't understand this song until we made our first 500 mile trip through the Texas hill country......driving a little Toyota pickup and pulling 5 horses in an 8X16 trailer. I love the line "slidin' down the other" because that is exactly the way it works. She was NOT impressed.
lol, but for future reference, "Toyota" should never be considered a truck, or used for hauling horses. Way to risky. Thanks for the insight though, gave me a laugh while picturing that.
lol Yep. We were young and even more broke than we are now. That Toyota was all we could afford. Worked great for gas mileage and could pull the heck out of that trailer on flat ground. Impressive little four cylinder. Even with trailer brakes, it sure was hard to get that trailer stopped, though.
Actually the Anderson Ranch in Texas used the Tundra to test for Toyota and said it was the best truck they had ever used, had no problems and pulled everything they needed it to, and they were not being paid to do it either, they were just testing them.
Best song to listen to when your pulling you GF/Wifes horse trailer around, specially up and down hills lol. This song was also insporation for me riding Bronco's the few times I have.
im 14 n love hard rock n metal but i must say chris ledoux is the best ive ever heard him and gene autry are what brought me into country , r.i.p chris your a true cowboy geoge straight has nothing on you
