This part of the fen is where my late mother used to walk her dogs, febuary 2009 was the last time she was able to go and this is where she requested I scatter her ashes so a very special place for me.
yes a special place.....we've regularly walked there since 1986 when we moved to Swavesey.......quite likely that we may have seen your mother at some point : -)
nicely done! Hard to believe it was shot on that little Panasonic! I got mine yesterday and did 1 shot in the water and had a sick feeling when I did! After being so careful not to get my equipment wet for YEARS its hard to intentionally put it in the water...not sure if I ever will be able to freely submerge it!
thanks.....yeh I felt really nervous at first putting it underwater!!......... getting used to it now....just got back from a holiday in Wales where I filmed in the rain, in and under a stream and in the sea : -)
Wow, what a beautiful video! Photography is my passion, and I see a lot of pleasing compositions in your videography. I'm finding it inspiring to watch, and my guess is that you do photography as well. If not, you should.
My favourite scenes were the strands of web blowing off of the bullrushes, and the sparkles on the water at the end.
thanks for the compliments!.....yeh I've been quite into photography for years.....the video stuff is all very new to me. I was pleased with how those strands of web came out....wasn't sure they would show up! The sparkling water was amazing, but it didn't do it for long....wish I'd had a tripod so that it was steadier, but I loved the shot so much it had to go in, shaky or not : -)
Cool, I love how everything is reflected in the water. I would have liked to record something like this myself, but "unfortunately" nothing is flooded here, lol.
thanks........yes she certainly had an AMAZING voice.......shame this recording (from the American Tune album) has some distortion on it....but her actual voice is perfect!!..........other great voices that spring to mind are Alison Krauss and Kate Rusby : -)

Beautiful video.
Perfect choice of music. I've only heard one other voice as pure as Eva Cassidy's and that was Julianne Regan from 'All About Eve'
