Very impressive. You are correct those runs are tough to get smooth and clean. What those that don't play may not realize is that not only is it a difficult piece but memorizing these long pieces takes lots of work. I have no doubt you can have a career in the gospel music field.

Thanks. And your right people don't realize how much work goes into this stuff. Memorizing wasn't to bad for me. I learned it all by ear, and my ear is fairly good. I can pretty much listen to it once or twice and get pretty close. Music is pretty simple once you know the theory behind, and I guess I memorized as I went. Thanks, I do really hope that I get a job in the gospel music field, somewhere. Whether on stage or in the studio.

Thanks for the encouraging words. I'm sorry, however to tell you that, I do not have this song anymore. Sorry, but WORD MUSIC has it. There is no written music for what I played, but there is accompaniment reduction of the orchestra that is available with the choir parts. Hope this helps. Thanks again and God Bless!

hey, I've been super busy. School is finally OVER!!!! YES!!! I'm official a sophomore. Well I still have Final Exams next week, but that shouldn't be a problem. I'm going to take summer classes at my hometown community college this time around, and try to get my basics out of the way. But I haven't even started a demo CD, I don't know what to put on it. Since the piano starts the piece, is there some sort of cue in the beginning of the track? Or do you have to guess when to come in? lol

I did a little audio editing to make the track suit me a little better. I completely took out the voices in certain places.  From 1:26 - 1:34. Then I also added a very quiet click at the beginning. Using the program Audacity. Its freeware, you can find it on the web. It has a click track feature that I used to put in 2 clicks, so I would know when to come in, but I had it set to play only in the monitors and not in the house. Just a little audio tinkering. I'm not sure. Depends on your skill level, and how good your ear is. I've been playing for about 14 years now, and this still had its own difficulties. I would say it would be about Advanced-Intermediate level. The runs will be the hardest thing to get clean. I didn't do very well this night as far as clarity goes. I just don't think it was ready to be performed yet. I got this up and going in about 2 hours. So with 3 months you should be fine. You'll have lots of fun with it, I'm sure.

It is an anthem arranged by Lari Goss, for the company WORD MUSIC. You may check their site. Just google it. It is a choral performance track. So the music is adjustable on the Left audio, and voices on the Right. Let me know if you can't find it. And I'll try to help.
