But I can run miles, and my stomach may not be flat, but in no way shape or form is my stomach making it hard for me to see my feet.
Isn't it ironic that the doctor himself is fat? And he is spouting BS about muscle loss. Caloric restriction doesn't just magically incinerate muscle. That only happens if you're doing no resistance training and only if you diet for a loong time without a break.
If you take the average person and put them on caloric restriction PLUS resistance training, they will look like a fitness model, which is quite healthy. I'm tired of these "docummentaries" that make all CR look bad due to stupidity.
