Funny, I worked with a volunteer group in South Africa and after coming back from an outing for pizza we found the steering wheel lock on the floor with a cut through the steering wheel. It was the ignition kill switch that kept them from getting our van.
I have a hard time opening the dam thing with the key itself when theres alot of pressure on it. Just face it towards the center console and it'll be good
I have installed 3 things in my car: a laser motion detector, a GPS, and a 25g semtex bomb unmarked. if someone tries to take my car, this turns an alarm that repeats the message: get out or you are going to explode. if the thief does not obey, I'll know where to go with my car, and if I can't rescue my car ... a call to a cell phone will do the magic. this is war against them, so, im not going to lose, one thief for one car seem to me fair hehehe
I have mine with the lock facing downward so it's not easily picked, because you would have to be kneeling and looking underneath it. What crook is going to spend the time trying to mess with that?
Also I use two. I have a double-pronged steering lock AND a pedal lock.
For gawd's sake, can't these fucking thieves leave well enough alone? We're going to have to have full-body car locks at the rate this is going.
I have the same style lock but it uses a key in the shape of an x. Even if you have this lock on your car as seen in the video; I dont think someone can pick the lock while bent over with thefts ass in the air. All you have to do is point the key hole against the center console.
completely useless, C4 works better

Seems to be that the weakest point on any lock is the key hole.
