  • lovely! so nice

  • GREAT analogue sound

    Really love IT!!!!

  • Love it! Really nice job. I am just updating my website after getting finally a PE1000 to complete the set with the PE2000 and M500. I just need some MS and PS stuff now to finish the Korg collection pretty much from DSS-1 back. (well no 700S either but unnecessary w/maxi :-) ) Need to get some vids up now instead of just working on junk.

  • thankyou for your music !!! hail !!xx

  • Thanks for the quick reply. Yes I would compare it to the other vintage string machine from the 70's. (I'm a vintage synth addict like you ;) . I can buy it for 540 USD. Do you think it's a good price. Thanks

  • @kellyssa3 Ok! I'm not so familiar with the U.S. second hand market, but from what I've seen, it is usually a bit more cheaper (about 20 %) than the EU market. So if it is completely in working condition, 540 USD is probably OK. But still, it depends on what you're after. If you want "that" string machine sound from the 70's, I wouldn't buy the PE2000. But the choir sound is unique and famous from Jarre's Equinoxe album. It was used on that album.

  • @kebunator Thanks for your help. I'm going to take time to think about this. Greetings ;)

  • Hello kebunator. I like your music and I want to know what do you think about the korg PE 2000. Is this synth flexible? Thanks for advance and keep up your good work.

  • @kellyssa3 Hi! No, it is definitely not flexible. Well, if you compare it to other string machines from the 70's, I suppose you could say that it is quite flexible. But if you compare it with a modern synth it really isn't. But the few basic sounds that it can produce are quite good. The basic string sound is not anything special, but both the choir sound and the "brass" sounds are IMHO quite unique and usable.

  • sounds like Free Willy

  • You are a vintage keyboard genius. Excellent vintage sound!! TR-808 is way the best analog drum machine over the world, you have wonderful feeling to make superb sound and mood!

  • Amazing! You have incredible talent with your synths! So wonderful to listen to! I love your work so much. =)

  • Kebu thanks for this music. This music is really beautiful and live !

  • Who the fuck disliked this?

  • great super

  • Fantastik! I could feel the analog warmth throughout the song! ;o)

Vangelis would certainly like this too!

  • Awesome...keep it up mate you have so much creative talent!..i seriously hope you make it in the music industry and release some albums one way or another!...i dont know how or the ins or outs of the complexities of creating an album but i would love to see you go on to develop your talents and be the next big name after Vangelis or Jarre...you have that spark and that gift that is so rare today.. as vangelis said be true to yourself and u will be a success!

  • cool Vangelis would be proud...you have the same talent deep inside...i hope you use it and create great future music for us all...the world needs people like you!

  • Bravo

  • Excellent work! Musical in the Vangelis mode. Teh preset is very similar to my Univox K2 (700s). I really enjoy your work. Great mini-concerts. You understand electronic and your productions are professional. We see analog coming back in so many ways. I see you even record to tape for extra warmth. It is working. - Sam

  • Det enda som slår den visuella upplevelsen av bandspagetti i ett bandeko är nog det dova rasslet från detsamma. :)

    Välspelat och snyggt genomfört!

  • Fantastic track. Nice to see the Space Echo and the good old Tascam 38 rolling.

  • Very nice !

  • WOWW!

  • I should say this chap is quite a bit better than Vangelis. Nice work on this one.

  • Very nice track and video Kebu!

  • Harmonic and beautiful! The hardware doesn´t make it worse;)

  • Beautiful piece and a great video-I do hope you find the time to produce more of these!

  • Fantastic! You are a true electronic musician. Let's collaborate.

  • nice sounds... I love the Korg M500 ( in fact I love all old korgs lol )

  • You are an inspiration, I've (over the last 25 years) acquired Korg, Roland analog synths and all sorts of rack mounted bits & pieces such as the U220, 330. and so on. Got to a point where I simply lost interest. Well,.... after viewing this video I an going to get up stairs, unpack them all, dust them down and start all over again. Thank you.

  • Very nice editing. awesome job, nice track too!

  • You are Vangelis, or a reincarnation, except he's not dead, ah We'll Vangelis could make giant songs out of very little, as you can do, you genius. Very good stuff, I can't wait to see what you could do with a Univox MiniKorg.

  • @bobborries Many thanks! I'll have to get my hands on a MiniKorg first... :)

  • nice Kebu! Retro all the way! Ja e nu it så inne på synthar men kom över en Yamaha cs 15d som ja nångång *plonkar* på :)

  • @hoxxin Tackar! CS15d lär va ganska kool...

  • I agree that this has a very Vangelis like vibe to it. (Which means I really like it, it's the kind of stuff I want to write myself)

How much did those 2 synths cost you?

  • As I said at KVR: Just brilliant!

    Cheers

    Dennis

  • Thank's y'all!

  • Amazing how you use your unique material 'the old way'. You're a true artist. Great job !

  • @moonfromKaramoon Thanks!

  • @Brainslayer48 Well, I couldn't have used my 606, because that has no maracas, and you definitely need maracas when composing music for porn movies ;)

  • @Brainslayer48 then you only watch retro porn

  • can't beat analog stuff :) , it just does what it says on the tin ... bit of reverb and deff would have the Vangelis spirit, nice work , cheers

  • I like your style ... I think Korg deserves the name of the world's leading musical instrument and you do not how else to confirm. Thank you posted this videodemo. (Sorry 4my english)

  • I'm impressed. The song immediately reminded me of Vangelis' old style. Lovely sounds and great use of the TR808. Definitely one of the coolest synth YT videos.

  • Dude, you make some sick demos on your vintage pieces... Impressed.
