hay lincolnman sicksc here, i want to get some headers this summer like real soon and new mufflers installed cus my car was stolen and recoverd and when they put the car on the flatbed they bent the mufflers a little bit so what i want to know is what would be the best set of headers for the car and how much to install everything including the mufflers? let me know asap so i can start to plan the trip. i want to get it done by the end of may. thanks.

Just a header clarification for you. We sent the Guy to Kooks originally before Bill made the deal with them. He was dynoed before with our cat back system then dynoed after with the headers and it was 5-7 more HP.

No headers, they are a waste of money and sound like crappolla. This car had 4.10 gears, our chip, maf and exhaust. Also a stall converter and shift kit.

I beg to differ. You have to uncork that exhaust eventually. With the mods already on your car, I would tend to believe that the headers would make a big difference. But to each his own. I like the exhaust very much otherwise. :)

Just my opinion, the stock cats are WAY restrictive with that 90 degree bend. :) Just another thought, and of course you already know how I feel about headers. ;)

I love my Lincoln mark viii 97... I paid $750.00 for it and I have spend around $500. 00 in lil new things like radiator, starter, "tune up", alternator, etc and I have done the labor by my self and some things are lil hard for me but I loving it more plus I am graphic designer so I have learned from google search too lol I am so proud of my self and my car. I wish i could do the same to my car like in the video.

i just got a 94 continental, i was gonna straight pipe it, but i hear that can be bad on the ECU, and this is my first vehicle that isnt carburated, and finding mods is hard, do u have any mods desighed for the 94 conti? (3.8L V6) just in case anyone wonders, the reason this is my first fuel injected is that my other vehicle is a 68 f 100 with a 390 Interceptor FE Ford big block, i still drive it, but i needed something with better milage as a second vehicle

Couple things I need to know. First off, wouldn't you have to remove the funky third catalytic converter for this? Isn't that, like, a federal crime? And also, how much would it cost to have parts shipped for me to install?

I would love to have one of these catbacks installed not long after I take delivery (among other things from LMS). i have a question. IM about to buy a 1995. I already now that its rated at 290hp. what would be the power gains from an exhaust setup with headers? What about with some new heads?

The gains on the dyno with long tubes and our cat back have been 29 whp. Headers are expensive and a nightmare to install, they are really only worth 7-9 HP by themselves. Do them when you blow the engine that way the engine is out and FAR easier to install.

I have sent many kits to CA with no reports of any issues. It follows the lawe, one cat per pipe.

It passes right through in NJ I know for a fact.

It will have a different note for sure since the mufflers on the TC are under the car with pipe in front and pipe behind, the Marks have ALL ipe ending with the mufflers. The TC would be more mellow and throaty.
