Product and method work grest did exactly what you said, Know my outliner are crunchin thru the hair razor sharp outlines, also tried them with my styliner II blades a little more work to take the blades apart bu still works the same. Keep the tips comin. Peace from Philly.
@mvbp100 whenever your clipper blades get dull, dude... i.e. if they tend to be "ripping" the hair instead of slicing cleanly thru it. if you cut your own hair then you'll be able to feel this.
also oil your blades to help prolong their lifespan.
hey alex can u use the same sharpening technique for ur blades with the concrete outside ur home as a substitute for the coarse side of the sharpener?
Hi Alex. What clippers do you recommend for a smooth cut on waves? Also, what's that stuff called that Barbers put along the hairline to make it look more defined? Thanks.
I would also like to know where you can get the best wheel product. I think I will use your product to sharpen when dull and the wheel to thin out the blades.
THANKS FOR THE INSPIRATION man!!! YALL bruhs let it be known that if you put ya mind to it you can be whatever it is you focus on being!i want to get that tip of the blade real thin, seems like this device is for a quicker fix...whats the best wheel product? and when ya gon put out that crisp afro shaping video?
I have your sharpener on the way but two questions. In order for my blades to be super thin how long should i sharpen the blade? Also for clipper blades should i just sharpen the moving blade or both?
It will be hard to get them thin with this sharpener but you can get them really sharp with this devise. The moving blade is the main focus when sharpening blades.
One side is aggressive(course) for the grinding of the blade. The next side is smoother(medium) to start the polishing process or smoothing of the blade process and the next side is the smoothest(fine) for the polished finish. I know i did not demonstrate everything in full and to the "t", but those are what the 3 sides are for.
which side of the sharpener are you using it said that there was 3 sides on the sharpener which one did you use the fine, the coarse or the medium to sharp the trimmers ? and i also wanted to know wich side of the sharpener should i use for the regular clippers like the seniors etc.... thanks,,,
yo Alex, this is a great, informative video. My question is, how often should you sharpen the blades? I bought an Andis t-outliner about 2 weeks ago...ive cut about 6 ppl's hair so far and im not getting that crisp line look u get in your videos. Why might that be? should i have adjusted them or sharpened them or something? I always put oil on too! If you could help that'd be great...thanks man
Alex, if my trimmers snags onto my hair when I shape up my face is because the blades are not sharp? I only cut my hair and I also have the andis outliner.
i was just wondering, i bought the andis T outliner. but like when i use it i noticed the ones at the barbershops feel much sharper when its used. do u have to sharpen them as soon as you buy them?
where could I get this device or a wheel sharpener?
