  • holy crap, is anyone else sick of seeing fabio and these stupid old spice ads?

  • I wouldn't doubt whether cloud seeding has something to do with all the extra hurricanes. Just because they can do something technically advanced, doesn't mean it's a good idea. I'm not saying all scientific discoveries are bad, but there is just no concept of how much power they have to change the entire planet...too often for the worst, even with good intentions.

  • Yep, the more I know, the more I see we are going to get screwed up by our own brilliant (or rather birdbrained scientists). They solve one problem and create ten more. A pill for a headache and 10 disastrous side effects. Cloud seeding and no doubt poisoning something, or screwing up some weather pattern. Build a car and end up making holes in the atmosphere. Blow up some physicist's nuclear device and stay radioactive for hundreds of years. They will be the end of us. Not a wise bone in them.

  • so we get poison water and salt water? i remember being told at one point those are both bad.

  • Chemtrails killing us all....and destroying our planet----fantastic!

  • IN SOVIET RUSSIA, RAIN MAKES HUMANS!

    Sorry, I couldn't help myself... :)

  • All technologies are SOLD and MANIPULATED to HAVE ADVERSE AFFECTS so as to be sold and /or create NATURAL DISASTERS for population relocation for the purposes of auctioning off land. EVIL STUFF

  • This is the most disgusting thing. They say it for the countries that suffer. In reality, Rich countries steal the water the belongs to those who truly need it.

  • 1:52 lol that would look cool if they lit em up all at once

  • naneedj.info I am Amber I live in Seneca

  • OK, so you seed the clouds. What about the people downwind? Atmospheric moisture is a limited resource. I think large scale desalination is the only real solution.

  • i have an idea. guys, when u do this again can you add blue coloring to the chemicals?:D

  • THEY SHOULD DO THIS IN AFRICA/HONDORUS OR WHEREVER WATER IS NEEDED TO WHOM THE POOR !

  • Humans can do this and people still doubt that governments don't have something to do with certain disasters in the world? BS

  • aka chem trails yay =D make our breathing and air horrible

  • clouds are just h20

  • why don't they use this to put out forest fires

  • @fairyheli2 yeah that makes since to me for real

  • @fairyheli2 Cloud seeding only works under limited conditions. You can't squeeze rain out of a clear sky...

  • this method is bad, eventually if man keeps using this way to produce rain there will be less clouds in the atmosphere therefor causing more of the suns light rays getting past that layer and hitting the earths surface causing more heat... zomg global warming.. :O

  • This is like man playing God.

  • @dadreamzworld - Using your kind of logic the first man to use an umbrella was defying the gods.

  • @TheSpankymonkey Using your kind of logic thats what it might mean to you. Get a brain but being that you named yourself what you did on here, thats something that might be a bit too far of a stretch for you. You seeds of Esau kill me with your comedy.xD

  • i think you can easily send missiles up to the clouds to let it rain

  • As the mountain ice cap melt faster and faster, cloud seeding will be increasingly necessary. A huge portion of the worlds population get their drinking water for mountain glaciers, once they are gone they will be out of water.

The Columban Glacier in Alaska is one of the larges in the world and it is now moving at 50 feet per day, way to fast for snow fall to rebuild it.

Everyone should see the show "Nova: Extreme Ice". It can be found on the pbs.org website.

  • Can anyone say water tax?

  • @danrayson Can anybody say water war!

  • first we had to fight salinity on the ground now we have to fight it from the sky aswell

  • check this out:

background report 9 over view of cloud seeding draft northern region sustainable water strategy.

published by the victorian government 2008

  • @longliveafter2012 where would i be able to read this information

  • you could almost call it harvesting clouds...

  • Hooray more chemicals in our ecosystem...

  • @e105b5 its not as bad as you think it is...

  • @Unit88888888 Lol you clearly don't know about silver Iodide (the main chemical used)... Under the guidelines of the Clean Water Act by the EPA, silver iodide is considered a hazardous substance, a priority pollutant, and as a toxic pollutant.

  • @e105b5 No, its not

  • @nmfirepilot Wow such good research skills to not even be able to check one fact. Even IF you had done the research which you evidently haven't you should post INFORMATION stating such. Such a limited response suggests ignorance.

  • @e105b5 Actually, thats how I know its not listed. You can find the list of priority pollutants, you will not find Silver Iodide on there. Be careful about making accusations

  • @nmfirepilot I didn't make an accusation, I stated a fact. If I just typed "no" would you believe me? "Long-term industrial or medical exposure to silver and its compounds may increase blood concentrations of silver to levels which can have toxic effects, such as induction of sarcomas, anemia, and

enlargement of the heart". Silver is on the priority pollutants list in the newer act you cite. Whether this encompasses it's ions or not is irrelevant, it does not change it being a toxic pollutant..

  • @nmfirepilot ...and a hazardous substance. If you check the older act which was the one I cited in my comment you will find I was correct. Seriously though who writes a comment simply saying "no it's not", did you expect me to just know what classification you were challenging?

  • @e105b5 lol agreed

  • @e105b5 Salt is natural...

  • China... and everything can happen

  • @p0l1989 great way the anti aircraft system used...the youngsters just like to imagine they are soldiers..

  • Doesnt this mean that the rain that is being extracted is filled with the chemical?

  • Did the video say they use salt particles? Salt is not good for the fertile soil.

  • They should do this in australia =,=, our nation always complain about Drought

  • There aren't a lot of clouds over Australia, right? You need clouds to get rain.

  • Comment removed

  • very simple..if you want rain..just tell all the airlines..that their passenger have to pee..at 3000 feets..

  • ah chemtrail re-education. Why do you not acknowledge the massive daily spraying operations over UK skies?

    HR2977, anyone?

Owning the weather by 2025, anyone?

    search them both.

    We're not all stupid.

  • Yes, and remember they have secretly roped in the aliens from the planet Dzangorgk-3 into this chemtrail conspiracy, in exchange for releasing the alien dead bodies from the Roswell crash back to them. This can only lead to other aliens from Krangxor, Plethgonn and Xantipp ... also wanting a peace of the lucrative chemtrail action. Who are they trying fool?

Once future historians study the chemtrail conspiracy, we will also have to deal with the time-traveling Poterzebies and Weeblefetzers.

  • drav1dan .. where do you get all this info from???

  • The same place that wearechangenorwich gets all his info about chemtrails. ;)

  • Maybe they should do this over desserts, just maybe!!

  • i make it rain!!! just call me Mr. MakeItRain

  • what ecological effect is this going to have...

  • @AshFromCan This has very little ecological effect, the tons pollution we pump into the air from the ground every day from cars, factories, power plants... does thousands of times than anything airplanes do.

  • they do this in dubai

  • I've never heard of this before.

  • We should'nt mess with nature. It's humans fault for living ibn dry areas.

  • well where else should we live? the planets already overpopulated and if we move people from dry areas then we'll just have less living space. P.s. DON'T DO THIS IN WALES!!! We already have enough rain as it is!

  • @XxSamBobJonesxX move to uk its best place to go theres no hurricanes hitting here or earthquakes or tornados lol

  • thats really stupid

  • all these salts and particles are chemicals which disolve in water therefore it is not pure rain. who knows what kind of crap diseases they'll discover these 'rains' will cause.

  • I agree

  • No doubt. Salty rain is no good to anybody.

  • salt doesnt necessarily mean sodium chloride. it could be many things.

  • and if its in the ocean you can filter it

  • Rappers dont make it rain they do

  • and this is what we're being told about, probably alot worse manipulation beein going on for ages...

  • this is kinda distubing @_@;;;;

    playing with nature = 2012

  • lol

  • Well, if u use salt, it's suddenly not freshwater, but saltwater again....

  • if the planet is warming then why is water going to be precious?? they keep saying the ice caps will melt and cause flooding.

  • when the ice caps melt they melt in to the ocean making the melted water salt water instead of freshwater which actually makes it poisinous to humans if too much is consumed...thats why they are saying water is precious lol

  • WADDAPHACK!?

  • So!!! What happens with the silver iodine, once is mixed with water?? Does it harm people, animals???

  • at 2:19, the seeds are only salt.....

  • So it turns into a salt at the burning time ???

  • Amazing. Truly Amazing. Shows how technically advanced the human race can be when it puts it mind to something.

  • rather impresive i think

  • I guess the ocean wasn't enough

  • now i want a anti aircraft gun with silver iodide shells

  • how can the sun decide how much heat it releases the sun is a jiant oversized chemical reaction without any catalyst or anything it doesn't change its rate of reaction. maby if you could come up with a better idea of why summer is getting longer and winter is getting shorter id like to know about it. isnt it logical! hasn't anyone ever payed attention in science or geo class have we all gone f'ing mad! If we fiddle with nature itll colapse on top of us like a jenga tower! it makes me angry!

  • actually the sun does change its output level. it's every so slight but it has storms and periods of increased solar activity. solar flares on the sun can affect our storms here on earth.

  • yer but what i was getting at was that the sun's change in its heat level would not be enough to cause a drastic change in the earth temprature, it would probably be lucky to change it by a degree. but i do agree with the solar flare storm thing.

  • u sounded smart until u spelled giant and maybe wrong

  • @123ShadowFox

YA IT MAKES ME ANGRY TOO !!!! AAARRRRGRHHAHAHAHABAWAAAAAAAAARRRRRGGHHH!!!!!!!!!!

  • Pretty cool.

In the real world though, there is no "free ride" so to speak. The water that is pulled out of the clouds where it wouldn't have normally fallen, now isn't going to fall where it would have naturally. If people get too good at seeding clouds and dependant on it, sooner or later some other area is going to be hurting for water.

So, I think the technology should be used sparingly in cases of extreme emergency drought, not just because we can and it would be convienient etc.

  • leave mother nature alone, you have messed up the world with youre greed

  • If you really think so, why do you have a computer? computers are one of the results coming from this "greed"

  • linking a computer with greed? you are way off the scale,it doesnt cause me to spend milions a month like china does on cloud seeding, get your facts right before you make a sweeping statement

  • Wow, we have come so far :D this is really amazing.

  • 2:56 plane just bump into the rainbow

  • haha how could that be

  • magic

  • global warming is a joke... the sun is just releasing more heat... morons.

    smile!

  • doesnt make sense if water forms around the salt particle would that make salt water/rain?

Desalinating ocean water is a better idea than this.

  • lol u do that to the ocean animal who are salt watered will all die

  • Comment removed

  • When you purify ocean water where do you put the salt? There is the problem, if you dump it back into the ocean then there is to much salt which could cause the water to heat up.

  • Actually dumping the salt back in the ocean would throw the natural salinity into shell shock and destroy coral reefs and fish incredibly fast. Not to mention we would be able to halt mining for salt all together and salt byproducts can be used for sewage treatement.

  • no shortage of rain here in ireland!!

  • you can say 'river water is better than rain water', it all depends on which river, and where the rain is falling. Rain in cities may have lots of chemicals from smog in it, rivers may be polluted by industry, as may wells.

My worry is that we're affecting cloud patterns and artificially inflating water supplies, both of which could come to be problems in the future, rather than being smarter about water use.

  • Rofl I only watched the first two minutes but obviously the whole things a joke, a good one at that...

  • Ummm tis is actully vry true. Thy hve experimetd with this in Tasmna Australia

  • go look up silver iodides and what they do - you'll see its not a joke - its just not always successful in producing a decent amount of rain (depends how much water the clouds are holding); also the rain can fall in places you don't actually want it to.

  • what makes it a joke? lmao u sound like an idiot.

  • interesting, i didnt have any idea that rain could be created.

  • rain isn`t created...it is triggered...

  • If only the Australian government worked on this, we wouldn't be in such a drought situation.

  • o.o those pilots got hit by a rainbow! - how cool =D

  • It is good when having clouds, but many countries doesn't have even one of them on the sky ;P

  • yeah that and you disrupt the natural flow of the climate with these techniques, effectively "stealing" the clouds from countries where they would have otherwise went.

  • no thats not true. A lot of these clouds drop their rain over seas or oceans where they help nobody.

  • good point, but it is still influencing the climate, so one should be careful.

  • Surely this is ground breaking for trying to stop world hunger?

  • lol no... its a selfish action... world hunger is only going to stop when the ruling elite stop being so greedy.

  • I can make a hell of a raincloud just by pissing.

  • Don't do it! Evil Sean Connery will challenge the world and only the Avengers can save the day!

  • turning the clouds into rain would surely make the clouds disappear as the water will be falling. wouldn't this create a new problem, making it a lot warmer? because clouds, like snow reflect sunlight back into the atmosphere making it cooler. surely, reducing the amount of clouds by creating rain would increase the enhanced global warming?

  • Possibly true, but this way we have water to drink...

  • really? i wasn't aware that we used rainwater as drinking water

  • but rainwater is less healthier for you than water from a river for example

  • if rainwater is less healthier than its the same for river water, sincer river water and almost all water comes from rain.

  • then you not nothing about science river water is healthier them rainwater, because river water have a special filter call "rock"and since

  • no, rainwater is just pure water , river water contains small amounts of minerals that your body needs, its not that rain water is not healthy, its just that river water is healthier

  • Clouds just don't permanently disappear. Clouds reform by evaporation of the water by the sun. Plus, this would not really increase global warming by that much if at all, considering clouds and rainfall are a natural occurrence anyway. We cause more problems creating hazardous gases by method of factories and automobiles that get trapped in the ozone layer, which increases the heat that is retained by the Earth.

  • you got a point, it wouldn't affect the rise of global temperature much but today we are talking about a mean temperature rise of a 1/10 of a degree, not much is needed to make a big difference. the problem is that by constantly doing this there will most likely be a climate change, not just global warming, on a completely different scale. draughts in ares where it didn't use to be and change in vegetation patterns and so on. of course it all depends on how often these alterations will be done

  • my sister makes it rain at a strip club

  • funny guy

  • wow cool

  • it was used in war years where forces would make it rain over enemy territory so they cudnt transport vehicles. think there was a treaty signed though to prevent it from being used in present and future wars.

  • Lol....I click on "How humans make rain" and I turned away for a second and it's like, "We start with an egg" And for a second, I'm thinking "How does that make rain?" and then I turned back around and realised it was just a stupid ad, lol.

The video itself is very interesting. :)

  • fuck ads

  • hello moto

  • zan!

  • The salt particles give the water vapour a surface to condense upon. And the water vapour subsequently colase with each other up to a million time to form one rain drop!!

  • __ I used to make fun of the Rain Dance by the native Americans (Indians).

__ After this video, I do think there's some truth in that dance. Perhaps during that ritual, the believers [accidentally] release some smoke that contains chemicals that trigger the rain cloud.

  • The salt is Cemicaly inert... therefor its not dangerous

  • playing with nature won't solve our problems, it wil just create new problems and make the old ones worse!

  • pussy

  • i bet u haven't seen what can happen if u try to fix nature and bring it to ur needs!

at least if u disagree tell ur opinion, nut just, pussy, idiot, bla bla..

  • Yes there may be side effects. But don't hide away just because there might be a problem.

Do what you have to, then deal with whatever problem arises later.

falconmick was just too lazy, to say it the long way thats why he called you a pussy. Have courage and even faith that we can find solutions to any problems we come across. Better to try and fail, than quake in your boots and not have a go.

  • lol, correct, I just CBF typing a propper responce, lol now I am... and dude, trust me, theres alot of stiffs like you who put regulations in that restrict shit like this, thats what ur good for, just dont say somthings bad without reserching it.. i havent done tons of research, and yes I disagree with some of the things in this (lol raid theft will be the future new articles) but trust me... if u look up the salt they use (cbf remembering what its called) u will see that it is fine

  • yes we played with trees, cut them down and used them for wood material, not everyone knows but 3 years 9/11 was caused by a pissed of tree brave enough to fight back....just wait until they are comming on instinction, then they will war us right?

    fuckin hippie

  • Believe it or not, the industry of water production isn't yet commercially viable for a profit, therefor, why would people risk killing people without doing imminence study into the properties of the salt they are using to produce the water, don't you dare use the cigarette argument, that made a profit, thats why they didn't study side-effects. Believe it or not, laws are stronger now and people are not aloud to introduce foreign objects into the environment without permit, which requires...

  • So what? This planet was fucked the moment humans set foot on it. Ignorant, selfish and unwilling to change for the better.

We're like a virus, we go somewhere, use up all the resources, kill everything in the area, move on and repeat.

  • watched matrix for too many times, don't you.

  • Actually, no =P

What, they say that in Matrix?

  • yeah see v=J_r294bn5UI

  • The URL contained a malformed video ID.

  • well search for "matrix morpheus interrogation"

  • Sufficient evidence

  • What do you mean "Sufficient evidence."?

  • see the post above it

  • Did you accidentally respond to me, or did you somehow link what I said to.. water?

  • you sound like a complete tool to be fair, hey i don't know anything about this but hey give it a shot anyway.... why do you even bother posting

  • And just how am I a tool exactly? >_>'

  • t is just like f flipped vertically :)

  • your a dumbass, so by not cloud seeding in Africa they will get an abundance of water? i don't understand how that works...

  • man, amazing what humans can do

  • I don't really like the sound of this...

wouldn't this accelerate the speed of global warming?

  • hah! i kno where ur comin from :P

but scientists says were gonna die in BILLIONS of years!

    so stuff global warmin :P

    either way - were dead

    - - - - - - - - - n global warmin....we need water....in places w/ droughts, we can giv those places water :P

  • actually, I don't really give fuck about global warming.

  • technically , you don't give a shit about your life either !! Global warming = Extinction

    live with it

  • Actually, you are right I've been thinking about suicide for a about a year and half.

  • failure

    just do it already

  • What about the consuming problem!

  • Fascinating, I never know they did that.

I betcha the government do that over British festivals to make it rain and ruin the vibe for people.

  • That's quit awesome.
