  • nice.

  • Gotta fix that "E"

  • LEKKER!!!!!!! I have never gotten to see/hear one of these weird student models in action before this video. Beautiful sound, and nice technique on the keys! I imagine that a Rhodes from this era would be a beast to play, as it has none of the key pedestal mods, etc.

  • You've got an amazing touch on the keys! Could you give me a hint on the progression from :15-21?

  • great, do you record songs?

  • Hot damn, the range of that thing.

  • beautiful instrument!

  • Wow, this rhodes looks breathtaking! Color, shape.... thats real retro!

  • BEFORE restoration? It sounds freaking amazing!!!!!!!! Don't touch a thing!!!!!!!!!! hahahaha :)

  • Ferkauf Mir Den Piano Auf Der Shtele Gip Dir 1500 Euro Bar Auf Der Hand

  • has way more "semiacoustic" and clangly bottle-like sound than aROdes..does it have a different mechanic?

  • Sounds Great!

  • What are you saying at 0:02? Is that some kind of name of what you're about to play? :)

  • @gabrius99

it's Dutch, he says "this is before!" probably meaning before the restoration.

Nice playing though~! where's the video from "after"??

  • HOLY SHIT... You looking for a band? hahahah.

  • what song are you playing in this video?

  • Aaahhhh, that is the sweetest sound I have heard in a long time! Thank you for making my neck hairs rise!

  • I've never seen a FR like that one. Looks more like a Wurlie than a Rhodes, but has the FR sound for sure. Cool.

  • Dope!

  • such a sexy sound....

  • what's the orignal song>?

  • so awesome. these student models can be found all over cities in america where the high schools used to have piano classes. Wurlitzers too

    And' very beautiful, stupendous sound.

  • 1969

  • Klinkt leuk, verkoop je ze ook... gezien er meerdere Rhodes op de achtergrond zijn.

  • nice chords

  • how does it sound like this? does the housing its in make the tonal difference? or can i get my mk1 to sound like that?

  • I think that the hammers strike tuning forks.

  • might be.

you can hear so many other harmonics when hitting a single note.

  • Yeah, I think they're called bells -- although not bells in the traditional sense. Each one has an electric pickup similar to those of electric guitar pickups, and voila, they amplify the acoustically-generated notes when the hammer hits the bell. Pretty beautiful instrument...

  • Man, that would look so nice next to my fridge..

Reminds me of CP80 kinda sounds, am I crazy?

  • Ohh that's lovely! what's the student model tho? a cheaper version with less options or something??? It sounds lush!! \m/

  • Lekker smerig Rhodes geluid.

Je speelt ook van die lekkere akkoorden, precies zoals een Rhodes bespeeld moet worden.

  • Man... THAT's the rhodes... i like simulation.. but this its so hot... :/

  • does the rhodes has the auto pan and phaser effects by itself or u got to have an amplifire with the rhodes?

  • can you tell me the chord progression you use from 0:16-0:26??

  • Fender Rhodes are the best, love the sound of this gem!

  • I love the "old-time" or vintage sound of these keyboards. :)

  • Geweldige sound!!!

  • hey thnx man! moet nog een filmje maken want hij nu helemaal gereviseerd!

  • this may very well be the keyboard of my dreams. ::

  • i agree.

ive never heard a rhodes sing like that before.

i dont even have a word to describe that tone.

  • is the student model moveable at all? Is it the heaviness, shape of it, or both?

  • Yes with 2 people it's easy possible! But we Dutch guys are strong ey!! haha

  • these are the chords i want to hear on that instrument, man! smooth

  • Is dat niet HARTSTIKKE hard naast die Twin-Reverb, of is dat gewoon nonsens wat de meesten zeggen: "Je moet in een stadion staan wil je deze op een mooi warm volume krijgen'

  • Wow that rhodes is so beautiful, and sweet sounding

  • Excellent! Sounds great even before restoration - would be good to see a post after it's fixed up??? Cheers.

  • so do you restore or collect these for fun or for work, that is so cool and i love your playing.

  • niks meer aan doen ;-)
