Haven't tried the other phones but l have the fascinate and I love the phone. I love the size and feel of the phone. the 5 megapixil cam takes better pictures than other phones 8megapixil cams. I hurt a lot of peoples feeling with that.

i have 2 buddies who have the captivate and the fascinate i have the epic so my opinion might be biased. but the Captivate takes the edge over the fascinate. but overall the epic was more responsive and smooth than the others. not by much

The captivate is #2 because the design is really nice and the back cover is metal

The fascinate is #3 because it is the same thing as the vibrant, except the vibrant doesn't have flash

The vibrant is #4 because it doesn't have flash or nothing special about the front, back or shape.

Vibrant is more mature, it has a physical button, it doesn't have 4 touch buttons that can accidentally be pressed. vibrant has a lot of supporters and devs to support, the others do not as much. Vibrant was the first to get 2.2, and is going to be the first for 2.3. Flash is almost useless, i dont ever remember using flash on any of my phones but i guess that's preference

@TheFerence123 If you get the AT&T one you'll have super limited data, if youre not a power user who doesn't need to use the phone everyday for simple internet browsing or relying on 3g for some android apps or using the navigation once in a while, and checking emails, then you can go ahead and sign up for the captivate.

I suggest looking at epic 4g, fascinate, or vibrant.

Actually the Captivate and Vibrant are the two best phones there although they dont hav front facing camera or led flash or a keyboard they have the most storage out of the phones longest battery life battery standby the two lightest phones and cheapest phones out of all the galaxy s phones even though the vibrant has inconsistent 3g coverage they are both good phones so the winner is captivate because without battery life and storage the phone isnt worth anything to me PLUS the epic 4g is bulky

Epic is the best . But 4G coverage isn't so wide spread so that's not the main selling point really. Physical keyboard, Front facing camera and flash on the back camera. I have a Vibrant since launch and have to say the Epic is the best of the 4 after seeing them all. The mobile hot spot isn't relevant either really. Tmo and ATT removed the software function but it can easily be flashed back to the phone. The whole bing thing on the fascinate is really janky. Fuck Verizon.

According to Wikipedia (if it is accurate), the front facing cameras will be REMOVED from the Samsung Fascinate (Verizon), Samsung Captivate (AT&T), Samsung Vibrant (T Mobile). Only Sprint was wise enough to keep the front facing camera for their model, which is the Sprint Epic 4G. If the Samsung Galaxy S 9000 offers a front facing camera by default, then why is it being removed? Think Skype video calling and market it to the deaf community for sign language communication. Look at I-phone 4!

Most of all cost I have unlimited data free roaming call any cell phone besides sprint in the USA for free & 7-7 calling free and weekends for 79.00 a month that includes 1500 min & Insure on HTC PRO 2 waiting on The Epic release.
