i don`t like distortion try adding some wah from microcube it might help :) but played really nice do you have the backing track, I tried using the one from guitar pro but my recording software does not read midi so i had to make it into mp3 and it sounds different please tell me what software do you use , i would give you 5 stars but no more stars just likes , you have one big like from me

Why would you add a wah? Btw, the microcube doesn't have a wah, and I didn't use that amp in this video. I got the backing track from guitarbt[dot]com. I think Audacity was used for the sound, and Adobe Premiere Pro for the video editing. Thanks for your comment!!

Right now, I'm always using the following settings with my Les Paul:

Lead Channel (Boost Gain)

Gain: 4

Bass: 6

Middle: 5

Treble: 3½

Reverb: 2

It's really simple: just unscrew the 2 screws that attach it to the body, and remove it. Make sure you don't overtighten the screws when you're putting the pickguard back on.

Now i got the boost, and it records loud but there is a huge noise in background..

I had the same problem. The mic signal was mono, but I was recording in stereo. The second channel captured a lot of noise. Maybe that's your problem too.

Somewhere in the sound options, you can select a mic boost. It boosts the input signal from the mic input so it'll be louder.

Dude, i need to know this: Did you just put that audix f50 straight to your computer and put the mic close to your amp? Or have you something between the mic and pc? usb interface? preamp? Because when i put my audix f50 straight to my computer it records so low volume that i hardly can hear it.

The mic is close to the speaker of the amp, and straight into the mic input of my pc. You need to turn on mic amplification (I'm not sure if it's called "amplification" in the English version of Windows). Are you using Windows btw?

dude excellent job with this little jam. i recently bought a peavey valve king and want to record some stuff like you did. are you just micing up the peavey valveking with a shure sm57 and then taking that into an interface and then to your soundcard?

Thanks. Where did you find that I used a Shure SM57? Because I didn't. I used a (cheaper) Audix F-50 to mic it up. It's all in the description, so read it first. And I recorded directly from the mic into my pc's soundcard, so no other interfaces. I just used the gear in the description.

Yes, really. I'm really happy with this guitar. It's got that really fat 'Gibson like' sound. I also love the neck. It's more of a thicker neck. I don't like those really thin Ibanez necks.

Thanks! Yeah, the GT-8 has so many options, sometimes it might take some time to get a really great sound out of it. A tip: use the quick settings for the preamp, fx etc. You can do this by, for example, clicking the preamp button, and then clicking "parameter left" button. Then you'll get some quick settings.

Or you might want to use the EZ settings: click "write", and then click "parameter right" 3 times to select the EZ settings.

You don't hear the solo AT ALL? Or do you just hear it a little bit. Because this is recorded in stereo. You could either try to watch this in standard quality (the blue link under the video) so you'll hear it in mono. Or maybe the volume of one of your speakers is at 0, or it's maybe broken.
