@Spicypeach3 Sorry - I'm not sure exactly what you're looking for. Maybe a flat-felled seam? Like the outside seam on a pair of jeans?

Now I know what I did wrong! I was doing it backwards!

I didn't cross the end of the thread with the needle, but left it loose.

No wonder the I couldn't fasten the danged knot!
