  • Another great video. Its nice to see a multiple lash up of SW's instead of the usual GP38 or -2. Is the mill waste in the containers garbage or sawdust and the like? Any idea what is in the tanks?

  • I am not quite sure what is in the containers.

  • The first locomotive is an SW1500 aquired used, built in the mid-late 60s. The second lokie was built new for Weyco in 1950 and is an SW7. The second lokie was also built new for Weyco in 1955 and is an SW1200. The last one is another SW1500 built new for weyco in 68.

  • @wsuraifan Why does the company use tank cars for anyway?.

  • why don they have regular ingins

  • Basically what Weyerhaeuser is running are locomotive that are many used in switching yards. I would guess that the company has most likely been using these SW 1500 locomotives for the last 40-50 years.

  • Those containers are what Weyco uses to transport the mill waste to their silver lake landfill...

  • A couple of years back a man got hit by a train there. Nobody knows if he committed suicide by stepping in front of it or if he just didn't see it coming. Pretty sad either way.

  • I LOVE THAT HORN!!!!

  • What is green container use for ?

  • Those are US trash service's garbage cars i think
