  • Facemelter.

  • love the process album, is my fav.

  • every on-1s gt there apoinon... huh loved the PROCESS nontheless

  • @PaulyKracker Like i said manymonths ago, Process is their return to their roots. I sure like listening to it. I recently bought Handover and listened to it 2X straight in the van and haven't listened to it since then. Their ealy stuff is the best by far. IMHO.

  • Can someone tell me why is this regarded as a Skinny Puppy weak album?

  • @TheJinjo75 because they obviously like tGWotR or Mythmaker and think these two are their strong albums. OK i know it's CD's but my first SP stuff was LP's so they are always referred to as LP's.

  • 2 people must have shit themselves and hit the wrong button.

  • Still the greatest SP album was Too Dark Park.

  • to me this was a sad album, with the death of dwayne and geat songs just too fucking short

  • @TheCogre It was a sad album indeed. But a special one. Dwayne's death made it so. Also, it was the last time Ogre sang shitty. To me, it means a lot. That guy had the best "I can't sing" voice in the world. Everything they did afterwards felt overproduced because he had gotten better.

  • I find all Skinny Puppy albums great in their own right.

The only ones I'm not super-crazy about [and I'm sure I'll be stigmatized for this] are the really early synth-based, almost dark-pop ones. It's still SP, and I'll never talk shit about it, but SP got me by the balls when they released VIVISectVI. Everything after that is pure genius. But that's just me craving the darkest, craziest shit from SP possible.

  • I have been following SP from around 1986 and in my opinion and not gospel, but their last great album was Rabies. TDP and Last Rights were OK but not the Puppy I love. The Process, again in my opinion, is truer to their origins.

tGWotR and Mythmaker are ones i barely listen to and i don't think I even have MM any more. The few tracks I have heard from HanDover is pretty good but the jury is still out on that. IMHO that is.

  • @PuppyBrap youve got to be high if you think Rabies was great guy, that was the weakest link in the chain for sure

  • @hellchild65 I must be high then. Next time try stating why you think somebody is high for stating their opion. You cant hurt my feelings as everybody has their opinion. Tell me what albums you like. i suppose 65 in your name is the year you were born and if so, you must have started listening to SP much later in their careers.

I also have a giant Rabies poster right above my desk. about 3-4 feet tall. It's awesome.

  • @PuppyBrap no was born in the 70's listened to SP around the same tiem Rabies got released actually, i dont think its a bad album, on the contrary, the last song and the first 6 are awesome, but the latter half just felt like a bunch of 2-3 minute fillers compared to the rest of the record. its possible i was drunk when I wrote that, that or just aggressively responded to your comment lol, no hostility intended

  • :) i love this song

  • @joefantabulous

You beat me to it. : P No disrespect to Ministry, but Process sounds _nothing_ like anything Ministry has _ever_ done. If you think industrial music that incorporates rock/metal guitars is something that Ministry invented or has some kind of monopoly on...you need to fucking get out more. Chrome and Foetus are techinically the progenitors here, and even then...who cares.

Musical evolution feeds on itself, nothing really springs from a vacuum, like you said. : )

  • @Eldeecue thats right .chrome were the fathers of the 80s industrial boom

  • Thank you. I've had to buy this CD three times due to over-use and it's always track 2 (this one) that gets fucked up for some reason. Nice to have it on here at least. :p The perfect angry song.

  • aweeeesomeeee

  • Cool they made it industrial metal.

  • fucking lov this song!!!!!!!!!!!!..

  • let me be the first to boo , i honestly believe this to be skinny puppy's weakest album, lacking in that originality that distinguished them from other groups. This is really only on par with garden variety industrial-metal

  • @OrangeColita so tell me what do they sound like then if they lack originality here in the songs name one group

  • @llamaspit3838

heres one Ministry. aside from the lyrics, the backing sounds like it came right out of the Ministry playbook.

please don't bring up former formal connections with that group, its irrelevant. skinny puppy was never an industrial metal group, nor did they ever adhere to a classic verse to chorus to verse to chorus format, that is, before this album.

i really don't want to argue about this

  • @OrangeColita umm thanks but i bought this album the day it came out

  • @OrangeColita "I really don't want to argue this" could mean "I want to get the last word in, but don't want to or can't finish what I've started."

  • a very underrated album of theirs imo, their 90's stuff was awesome, new stuff aint too bad either, Mythmaker was awesome!

  • This album was not necessarily their best, but this song is bad-ass.

  • One of their best!

  • :] It's a very good song.

  • Awesome!!!! I LOVE Skinny Puppy!

  • this track comes in loud and clear

  • Nice to have this up.
