this is very awesome, but it really makes me wonder why you guys created seesmic for windows. is the same plugin architecture going to be available for that platform as well? since the launch of seesmic for windows, it's been a bit stagnant. facebook isn't even integrated yet.

we started by Seesmic for Windows then we saw the possibilities of Silverlight 4 and decided to evolve it with that, using 90% the same code, so that we could run on a mac. We have been focusing on the platform and been slow to update Windows since we could not be everywhere, but the new Seesmic Desktop should be awesome.

so it sounds like seesmic for windows will be retired in favor of seesmic desktop, is this correct? if so, it really makes me anxious to see the new seesmic desktop.  when will we see a public beta?
