@tomomoto You clearly have no knowledge about Mac's, you depend on what you hear from others about Mac, and bootcamp is so old it's gay, I guess you never heard of Wine HQ? :P owned.
@MomoMaxedOut I don't get your point. So what your saying is you don't need to legally or illegally aquire a windows OS to play 98% of games ever made?
I don't need Wine HQ cause I'm already running the most comprehensive, universal, highest userbase, OS there has ever been. Not to mention the easiest platform to upgrade hardware. A PC is not just a dell or Acer, Asus or Alienware, its a universal platform that can take any hardware you throw at it, because its boss.
@tomomoto 100% of games ever made, if you get a powerful enough Mac you can use anything Windows if it doesn't exist for Mac.
Correction. You are not running the most comprehensive, universal OS there has ever been. Windows isn't everything. Mac is more hardware superior than Windows, only because you can get it on cheap shit netbooks and laptops it's better? And because it's cheap to mass produce for ppl who can't afford quality? WRONG! You can't win here mate, you just don't know ...
@MomoMaxedOut Actually, Mac and PC parts are made in the same factories and to the same quality standards. Manten in Beijing is where most Mac parts are (mass) produced, along with Samsung's PC parts.
@Task5003 Yes, hardware parts in terms of CPU's, RAM etc. But the actual build, the framework is superior to PC, I never seen a Windows laptop built with an aluminium body. Obviously hardware parts are made the same, that would be odd if it was separately made lol
i like mac , but they are so expensive its almost obscene, i bought an asus k 52 at $800, and it has the same processor and graphic card than a macpro but almost half the price.
@panchociarer Yes but you need to look at the quality of the materials used to make Mac's, almost every single Apple Product is made from aluminium, flexible, strong glass or high quality polycarbonate plastics .. Which doesn't come cheap at all ...... Just some of the factors to look at when buying, there's always a reason for the price. Strip down all the material costs and you get the same as other equivelants
@MomoMaxedOut i agree that the craftmanship & materials of apple products is superior, but i think that the reason of the high prices is other. the last week i went to an ipoint to buy new headphones for my ipod and i couldnt believe they where $260 (about us$65) and the only feature that they had that a us$20 sony headphone dont, is that they are just pretty. the quality of the materials and craftmanship is the same in both products. i think apple products are 30-35% overpriced
@panchociarer You're buying the custom operating system, the exclusivity makes it that little bit more expensive .. And the build quality is immense, plastic vs high quality aluminium .. Its up to you, I would go with the Mac :D
@spearkill Don't judge till you try :P Apple can run Windows and Mac, they're making the machines more powerful, more money worth than before .. And the Mac's look amazing .. Mac is easier by the way ..
@MomoMaxedOut Hello. Do you mean that I can install, for example, Windows 7, on a Mac? I would like to use a Mac but many softwares I use run only on windows. If thats possible that would be great. Regards.
@DudVince Yeah, you can either choose which operating system you want to boot from at startup using the "bootcamp" function or run a Windows virtual machine inside OSX. Booting into windows is best for very demanding software while the VMs allow you to open windows software straight on OSX and works pretty good for pretty much every thing except gaming. Gaming on a VM is acceptable but not ideal. I would advise using equivalent software in OSX whenever possible as it's a faster OS.
@jonettedavid When I first laid eyes on the Apple desktop with Mac OS that I got for Christmas, I couldn't believe how shitty it was. I can't use my blenders I made on it, I don't have a the right to make schematics for fusion reactors on it, I can't fucking play any games, the damn thing breaks all the time, the memory is shit, it feels like I don't have any control over it and I miss my DVR. I then got an Gamer Origin Genesis and cried of its perfection. I have a real computer.
@DerpPickle Haha .. Maybe it's because you got a shit Mac lol. Ever hear of CrossOver .. You can basically use it as a PC on Mac .. Plus theres Dual Boot where you can install Windows on a Mac :P
The only con of the mac laptop is that it does n ´t have a right click, uncomfortable

FYI, the new Macbook's don't have mouse buttons, and you just double-press to right-click.
Excellent tutorial, I just got my Macbook Pro today! :)
