Then again, I recall his brother Mukua was designed to be elephant-sized and rendered as big as house cats... I think it's because their mouths are max size? Maybe the game equals them out that way to a set proportioning.

You don't get achievements if you use any cheat codes in the editors or game, except for evoadvantage.

By the way, this epic is cool.

Also, if YOU yourself don't get the hit that kills it, you won't get the achievement. If you just let your pack kill it, then you won't get the achievement. =/

okay say you've killed a bunch of epics before, then you tried again and it found your nest and killed everyone including you. Then you hatch again with no one to raise you (adult creature) and you are frozen on the nest in Super mini form with another baby creature staring at you.. everything is disabled even the evolve button is removed, you can't move. what do you do then? I mean my character is microscopic unless I scroll in all the way, then its just a blob of nothingness XD

Well, yes, they axed that feature, creatures can swim, and if you leave them in the water they can't drown they just sit there and tread water. But if you go out too deep in the water it plays a cinematic of a huge deep sea creature eating you, no way to avoid it.

You have to deal the killing blow to ge the achievement. Much easier if your creature has advanced flight and powerful ranged attacks. Takes forever to kill it on your own, but DAMN is it satisfying.

The easiest way to kill an epic is to get it to come to your nest, somehow your guys can kill it but it can't kill your guys, step back and use spit.

if you used any cheats on any game after this game was created, then you don't get the achievement.

Using cheats disables achievements, the only way (At least from what I've heard) to enable them again is to delete all files which have cheats on them, then reboot the game.

i attacked it with 3 other rouges and all 3 got killed so epic was like 800 hp thts when i started to kite it with spit lvl 5 and after a long time i killed it haha if u have patience its possible, heres 1 tip i made it stuck between tree's its the easiest way hehe

I have the same trouble. I killed an Epic creature as well all by myself with no posse members took me almost an hour, yet I got the alert for the achievement but I don't have it when I check the achievement list. I was playing offline, maybe that could be the problem. Anyway, it's really annoying.

Yeah... if you have your nest do most of the work on killing a creature, epic or not, you usually won't get credit for the kill. I was fighting a bunch of Alpha creatures when I saw I was near my nest. I lead them to my nest to take them down faster and to get the parts they were holding, but when I had my nest kill them, I didn't get any parts, only DNA points.

There is really no other way to take down a epic other than the 'spit&flee like holy hell' kiting tactic...And even then it takes really really really really long. This one time my posse of three rogue creatures all got insta-squished by this epic which mysteriously appeared behind me - I sprinted away, but my pack didn't make it due to the fact they were milling about aimlessly...No commands (e.g. follow me) ftl :(

yewah alas tho it seems the achievement doesnt count if you use the nest to help. you need to do it by acid spit and kiting the thing. problem is you keep getting hungry it takes so long and half the time you tale the time to eat the damn thing resets. :-(

oh it's an epic, i got the 100 DNA for killin an epic and epic was in its name (if seen and allied rogues before too).  But it does seem that having a nest assist on killing an epic does mean it wont give you the achievment. :-(
