Ehh, the game's not that bad. Alot of people didn't like that it was way more of a grindfest than the previous two.

The sheer amount of customization and often stunning visual effects, in my opinion, make up for the lack of a decent plot and the often grindy parts of the game. There was a lot of character development in the game but it took place outside of the plot, which is iffy.

I have it...the local gamestops and Game havens here have a few copies. Its really strange. Its not as good as number 2 story line but better graphics wise...and its not as good as three at all. Its like 2.5 with harder battles and dungeons.

i love grandia!!! i played the first one on dreamcast and i wish my brother wouldn't have sold it... :( i miss that game so much

I think Iwadare is second only to Nobuo Uematsu in terms of skill in writing battle tracks. Motoi Sakuraba is a distant third.

Motoi actually writes the best battle themes, but they all sound the same which detracts from him if you ask me.
