@TheGiz2000 -- I did, quite a while ago. I have Kipawa on both motors - a 70lb Traxxis on my Otter Stealth 2000 Duckboat and on this one (46 lb Endura ), which I use for hauling the decoys and for retrieveing.
How fast would a 86LBS ELECTRIC INFLATABLE BOAT TROLLING MOTOR OUTBOARD go in kph in a small one person inflattable boat? and that one person weighing around 46+ kilograms?
@Baz3752 Increasing the thrust does not increase the speed but the size of the boat that you can move. More thrust = bigger boat @ same speed. With these trolling motors you can get up to 8 Km/h in good wind and current conditions, with a low drag boat and with a high efficiency propeller (i.e. Kipawa). Inflatables are NOT low drag. It's a lot to learn about boats and propulsion - you need to do some research on hull speed, propellers ....
it's in the description - 3 knots (that's nautical miles per hour). however, the boat was not properly inflated, which added to the drag. plus, the boat was a cheap toy with a lot of drag. on a good one, you can go to 5 knots. I'll post soon something new with a better propeller on a better boat.
Put a Kipawa prop on that and it will be a nigh-and-day difference
