@LadyYuzuki well, you're not wrong to associate the swastika with nazi germany, however it's meaning remains the same, like someone said before it is a symbol of good luck that has been used for over 7000 years. if you want to learn something, you should research the origins of the swastika. it's actually pretty interesting how the symbol was in use for so many years and across so many cultures from india to mesoamerica. one incident shouldn't stain the ancient history of the swastika.

In the manga's prophecy, the child of destruction would have the star and the swastika on their hand as a sign. However, Riki-Oh's mother gave birth to twins, thus changing the prophecy slightly. The reason for the 2 symbols is to represent the parents of Nachi and Riki: one being Jewish and the other a Nazi.

If anyone could comment about to about this, could they please? Why do Hebrew and German icons re-occur in anime? There are many, many animes to mention. Some with only slight attributations (such as Spike 'Spiegel' with a Jericho 941 Pistol), some with strong ones (such as Spriggan with the Ark of the Covenant). Those symbols are not unique to Jews and nazi's. Both those symbols and the cross are as old as human civilization. They've been co-opted or hijacked in the Nazi's case, but they are very old symbols for the sun and star movements
