In my mind, Hope Sandoval lives alone in a top floor apartment in an old stone building in Florence or Paris. She has plenty of gentleman callers, but dismisses them all, preferring to live in perpetual wait for that perfect someone. Unfortunately, Hope (the lead singer) broke apart from Mazzy. Then came Hope Sandoval and the Warm Inventions. Their songs are absolutely just as .... moving. Personally, they have a few tracks which surpass Mazzy I think.
