I love this song. Cat Stevens/Yusuf Islam has been a musical inspiration for me for awhile. I dont care about religious backgrounds with artists. Lets just enjoy the music!!

It would appear that he is showing some sensitivity toward what others may expect of him by not using his adopted surname on his "secular" records. If you see "Yusuf Islam" on the CD, you can expect a religious / educational theme, whereas if the CD reads simply "Yusuf", then it will be more mainstream like this.

U can sing as long as the code of the song is sending msg to awake ppl about wad things they did are bad towards religion. Eg. U heard before The 9 Saints in Islam, Wali Songo(Indonesian). One of them conduct gamelan in order to attract ppl to do the rite thingz and most of the lines that he sang came from Rasullah PBUH hadith.
