  • The first bug was some type of weevil. The bumble bee was probably resting after a long flight; insects get tired too. The last insect was not a moth. It's a stink bug. They excrete a nasty smelly substance when you touch them and it probably got all over your fingers....

  • I don't usually say this about youtube videos but great video dannyday.

  • @modshroom thanks for watching - glad you liked it :)

  • @dannyday58218195

    make more now.

    lol

  • @modshroom LOL for real?! i like it but its hardly epic! look only 1,700 views in youtube world thats pitiful!!!

but thanks for the vote of confindence!!!

  • @dannyday58218195

videos of things we don't usually see up close, like insects, are always interesting and intriguing. Especially when they are in high resolution and you can perfectly make out every bit of overlooked details.

  • cooool i made something like this

  • that first bug is actually so cool

  • I am living with Apiphobia (fear of bees) as well as Spheksophobia (fear of wasps), so I'm not entirely sure why I clicked on this link...

  • NICE, where do you find these insects!!

  • Dang... Sucks about the sound. But great vids Danny. Rated!

  • Wow! Speak of very cool videography! You are so talented and I thank you for adding your video to mine! The birds, bees and flowers all belong together! 5 awesome videograhic footage!

  • @enjoythevoyage - hehe i love this too - since i got my HD camera about may 09 - ive been filmin loadsa random footage of thing i find - this was my favourite - especially when you can compare it to the sugar granuals, and my finger

and i love how it reacts, and how it tries to "climb" the sugar road! LOL!

life in one of its most delicate form eh!

  • @dannyday58218195 Can you tell me what music is in the background? It's beautiful....and so is your work. Kudos!

  • the first is a weevil

  • woooo wtf that is inpossible ! Lol long way to get it in HD but how long does it use to make it in HD from begin to end?

  • not long at all! id say maybe an hour or two after editing...

it shouldnt even take that long - but blame panasonic for providing shit software with the HD camera that doesnt even process the footage into an HD format - when i found that out youve no idea how close i came to smashing the screen!

doing it my way lets me convert raw HD film into wmv HD files which work perfectly and can be used for anything else not just youtube

  • nice vid how did u film this and witch camara and how to put it in HD ? xD to mutch questions?

  • hehe i filmed it with the panasonic HDC-SD20 (AVCHD) camcorder

i dont use the software that comes with the camera cuz its shit - trust me it doesnt even convert the files the HD what a joke

so i use either Voltic HD or iskysoft video convertor to get the files from *.mtd to *.wmv

this then lets me edit them in windows movie maker. then once im done i can publish it using windows HD media for xbox 360. upload to youtube and viola! HD footage on youtube!

  • the audio doesn't work : (

  • i know curse youtube copyright rubbish - neways it was only music no audio of the actual bugs!

  • How small is that first bug? If it's about the size of a ladybug, my grandparent's house is filled wiht those things. They're harmless; After coming home from Thanksgiving dinner, I even brought one home for a pet (several years ago).

  • yeah i think it was about the size of a lady bug - i wasnt bothered i was more curious about it and was quite happy to just film it! didnt think youd be able to keep it as a pet though...?
