Do make a clear distinction between the RUDE form and the root form, it wasn't very clear when I heard in the distance your speaking that word; as such it got my attention.

    .

    Sorry to be so particular.

    .

    Cheers.

    from,

    del-boy.

  • She was looking where I was in the beginning of the video :D.

  • For saying "let's go everyone!" you'd say something along the lines of "iku yo minna!" or "minna iku yo!, which one sounds better? :3

  • @Fuzzeah I would say "minnade ikimashou" (みんなで いきましょう。)

But someone please correct me if this is wrong...

    Nomu-Minum-Drink

  • well im learning uhm hiragana and idk which one i should learn first: hiragana or katakana..help?

  • either one works because eventually you are going to learn both right XD

  • yes

  • what is i like u in japanese? is it anata wa suki desu?

  • aishiteru

  • sorry, sukimasu

    Anata O sukimasu

  • No. Wa is a subject marker, the subject is I.

I like you. Like is the verb, which is suku, but you would conjugate it to sukimasu to show continuing action. I like you, you is the direct object, so you would mark it with O, an object marker particle. The subject is understood, so leave it out. Take out desu, the verb isn't is/are"

I are like you doesn't sound right, does it?

    Anata O sukimasu.

  • or anata daisuki desu to show that you like someone a lot

  • @jaeyg it's anatag ga suki desu, but you mostly don't say anata or kimi, just suki desu. the person you're talking to will understand you, but if you talked about sth else, you can say (let's say the person's name is watanabe) watanabe-san ga suki desu. you need to say this when you change the talking topic, because if you talked about apples, the person might think you like apples. adding the name makes everything sure :D

  • @jaeyg

yep. also wen confessin 2 some1 u lyke its 'sukidayo'

  • @jaeyg no, that's cold and unfeeling. Anyone who told me that i would beat with a hammer. Suki desu is fine.

  • Comment removed

  • @jaeyg anata GA suki desu. Because the full sentece, watashi wa anata ga suki desu. If you say "anata wa suki desu", you need to put what is being liked, "anata wa ice cream ga suki desu ne?"

  • @jaeyg

what you just is : watashi wa anata ga suki desu

  • @takatoekoe just say 「大好き!」「だいすき!」「daisuki!」

  • @Superscriptor

    is an option ^^

  • @jaeyg in most situations, a casual way to say i like you is anata ga suki desu.

  • @jaeyg Ur saying empty to say awsome u say sukoy

  • @jaeyg Using "ga" after anata would be more natural.

  • @jaeyg I'd say "Anata ga suki desu". (あなたが好きです。)

  • du bist konoyarro

  • why are you using german?

    doitsugo o hanashimasuka?

  • If you write your name in Japanese, you should write it in katakana and NOT hiragana or kanji..

  • well, some western names are written in kanji

  • sensei ha commento wo yomu deshou. ano, bideo ha chotto mijikai to omoimasu. motto tashite kudasai.

  • i use Suki for Like, never heard Suku

  • "Suku" as a verb is archaic, as is "kirau." These days, the na-"adjectives" "suki" and "kirai" (which work like verbs by English's standards) are always used. "Suku" and "kirau" DO exist, though.

  • suku is the infinitife, when it's conjugated you say 'suki desu' ;)

  • Sukimasu

  • how do u know if your to use hiragana or katakana when writing?

  • katakana is for foreign words and hiragana for japanese

  • Not always. Sometimes, Katakana can be used to put lots of stress on a local Japanese word, or to emphasize essential and non-essential use (pronouns, for example, are non-essential in Japanese, and you'll find that many of them are actually written in Katakana, especially in comics and videogames).

  • how would you say i like some1...like

watashi wa (name) suku desu? please respond any1 who knows

  • You want to say "I like you."? Usally, the adjective-form of "like" is used instead of the verb-form.

"(Watashi wa) anata no koto suki desu."

And the subject (here also being the topic) is often omitted in a Japanese sentence. That's why I wrote "watashi wa" inside the brackets; you don't need to say it.

You can also add "dai", which means "a lot".

"__ no koto" has a similar meaning to "about __", so literally:

"Anata no koto dai suki desu." = I care about you a lot. (= I love you)

  • hey dude u seem 2 know alot about japanese speaking and such do u think u cud teach me a little bit plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz????????????
