@nojyeloot when it comes to vibrato, I'm mostly into guys who use WIDE, musical vibrato influensed by classical music. Yngwie Malmsteen and Mikael Åkerfeldt are great examples. I think vibrato is mostly a mental thing... you have to feel you're in control of the note. Just imitate players with great vibrato until you nail it! There's not much more to it, i think :D

Soilwork uses B-standard ( B E A D F# B ).

I, on the other hand, played this lead in E-standard. The notes are the same, but I bet the fingerings are completely different than they would be in the B-standard tuning. I had no reason to tune down to B since I practiced only the solo.
