  • i made one very slight modification

    was having trouble mixing the cake mix(developing lots of strength on my arm in the process)

    so i added 2 tablespoons of water to the crust mix

    it was much easier to mix

    it made it also rise a bit more, and get fluffier

    this recipe is awesome, everyone at work loved them :)

    and the message at the end is true, one is never enough

    i'm new to baking(and my oven is very bad), so it took me 2 ruined attempts but the third was finally successful

  • The spray is a Pam shortening spray to keep the batter from sticking to the pan.

  • The bars were amazing at work, everyone devoured them... use a good wet knife when cutting them... the first batch someone else cut, and made a real mess

  • You can try and test baking the crust for 5 minutes and then baking the filling for 30 minutes, but you need to make sure the filling is set by doing the toothpick test.

    For this video, the filling was in the oven a tad longer, that is why the edges looked browner than usual.

  • The edges look kinda burnt. Do you think i could reduce the baking time to five minutes for the crust and 30 minutes for the filling?

  • @caligrl82091 Sour cream added to the cream cheese makes the cheesecake lighter and yummier. You will not even taste the sour cream. Check it out.
