The bars were amazing at work, everyone devoured them... use a good wet knife when cutting them... the first batch someone else cut, and made a real mess
You can try and test baking the crust for 5 minutes and then baking the filling for 30 minutes, but you need to make sure the filling is set by doing the toothpick test.
For this video, the filling was in the oven a tad longer, that is why the edges looked browner than usual.

i made one very slight modification
was having trouble mixing the cake mix(developing lots of strength on my arm in the process)
so i added 2 tablespoons of water to the crust mix
it was much easier to mix
it made it also rise a bit more, and get fluffier
this recipe is awesome, everyone at work loved them :)
and the message at the end is true, one is never enough
i'm new to baking(and my oven is very bad), so it took me 2 ruined attempts but the third was finally successful
