  • beautiful ^_^ very dark and tender =] definite thumbs up

  • This creeped me the he'll out. Idk why but it did

  • @slowphobia Well, it is a 'Gothic' short film after all ;)

  • Congrats Lauren on putting this challenging body of work together!

  • Love it

  • Good job Lauren and everybody. You have a unique way of expressing yourself in all your artistic ways that is signature Lauren Nash. I know this piece has a different meaning to you, but it reminds me of my personal experience with finding forgiveness from Jesus. When he placed his hands over her blood stained hands down into the water symbolized baptism to me. Well, that's my take, but I know you probably had something else in mind. Anyway, enjoyed it, great job and interesting.

  • @manderbos No I’m glad that you were able to find such a deep meaning within this story even is my original intent was something darker. I had wanted to leave the film to be open to interpretation after all. =) Thanks so much, I’m happy you enjoyed it so much!

  • @TRANSiENTART I'd love to hear your darker meaning. You are so creative in everything you do. You make it look easy, but I cannot do it. I draw portraits, but have never found my own style. I also think you are a good mother and wife, very patient and gentle with your sons, that speaks volumes of your character. I think that is why I like watching your videos, because you put so much of yourself into them, so it is not just about the painting. Stay Sweet.

  • @manderbos In other words, you wronged someone, and instead of seeking that person's forgiveness, you took the easy route and sought forgiveness from your imaginary friend to ease your conscience. Congrats on being simple enough to find solace in a delusion.

  • @Timorio You obviously have a beef with anyone who differs from your believe system. As a Christian, having been forgiven, I have no problem going to someone and asking forgiveness. Offending others is not the only sin one needs forgiveness from. Maybe your conscience doesn't work, but mine does and I need the salvation Jesus died for me to have, I won't reject it with unbelief.

  • @manderbos No, I have a problem with those who let an obviously false superstition run their life. Sounds like your indoctrination was quite thorough. Score one for your parents.

  • @Timorio Your so full of venom and this is not something Lauren the artist, wife and mother, would want on her videos. I don't mind you being an Atheist or whatever, that's your choice. Why are you so angry if you don't believe God exists? Why so full of hate towards those who do believe? You assume my parents indoctrinated me and you are wrong, is it possible you are wrong about so may other things? Jesus existed, the Bible a proven historical book, even archeologists use it.

  • @manderbos Hate? Don't flatter yourself. It would be more accurate to label it a mix of pity and disgust.

Whether or not your parents indoctrinated you is irrelevant. It doesn't take a sociologist to recognize that the vast majority of people become socialized by the beliefs of those around them. Do you think it's a coincidence that most people in America are Christians and most people in the Middle East are Muslims? Use that religion-repressed brain and think about it.

  • @manderbos It's amazing the simplistic conclusions your kind come up with. You think that because archeologists use the bible that somehow means everything inside is true? Do I really need to point out how this is wrong? Do me a favor and stop responding, because every inane thing a religious nut says requires five times the text to correct it.

  • @Timorio Poor Timorio, you're fighting a losing battle. Going around scoffing at literally billions of ppl who believe in God. What do you reason in your mind about the thousands of after death experiences that ppl have had? Let me guess, " Oh, it is just a brain fart". I just got through watching an interview of a Muslim who had died & came back to tell us that he saw Jesus, and now he is a Christian. Jesus is the face of the invisible God. He's not the only Muslim to see this.

  • @manderbos Surprising no one, you think something as hotly debated as near-death experiences is more proof for you.

Curious...If this soul of yours can think and operate outside the body, how is it that drugs can alter one's consciousness? Do drugs possess spirit-altering powers? Why can brain damage completely change one's personality if your soul is "you"? How is it that Alzheimer's can erode your soul's memories to the point where you don't even know your own son?

    Again, use your brain.

  • @Timorio According to the Bible, God created us in his image. He is 3 distinct manifestations of one God. The Father(mind), the Son Jesus(body), the Holy Spirit(spirit). We too have a body, mind, and spirit. The spirit lives forever, our soul is connected to our spirit. When someone believes & accepts what Jesus did for them, the Holy Spirit comes and dwells in that persons spirit. What Jesus called being born again. Once our body dies the spirit goes with one's soul into eternity.

  • @Timorio I'm not sure your point about the Alzheimer's or drugs, having anything to do with proving there is no God. On earth we are subject to the conditions of our natural man, but after death the spirit is free from the body and sicknesses. Your soul, spirit body lives forever, but scriptures are clear about where the spirit man goes for eternity. I wish you would watch Andrew Strom here on YouTube, he was an atheist that died in Europe on vacation in a hospital.

  • @Timorio I told you the wrong guy's name to watch, it's Howard Strom, not Andrew. I know you probably don't care to view it but his experience was one of the most interesting I've heard, especially for an atheist.

  • @manderbos I love how your kind completely ignore points against you and move onto the next thing as if nothing was ever said. HOW DO YOU EXPLAIN THAT MOST CHRISTIANS LIVE IN AMERICA, MOST MUSLIMS LIVE IN THE MIDDLE EAST, AND MOST HINDUS AND BUDDHISTS LIVE IN ASIA? What explanation is there other than socialization?

    Answer the question, simp.
