How can he say:

1) The Alfa Romeo is beautiful, let alone the most beautiful "in the class" when it is one of the ugliest cars on UK roads?

2) The Alfa Romeo is in the same class as the BMW & Mercedes? It is NOWHERE NEAR those two cars. They are in a different league to that car.

Alfas, the company & the owners all think that the car is something special, but it isn't. It's God-damn UGLY and crap.

All the other cars just look good but the Merc C class is the one that really made me fall in love. 5 years of design surely does show up in its quality.

All in all a very balanced review of the C-Class, a lot less euphoric than Fifth Gear's. Note the criticism for the inexpensive-looking cabin and the American-style parking brake - right on target.

I saw a scoop on it in an Autocar magazine last December. In light blue metallic with lovely alloys and a slightly more angular sporty stance (apparently the rear will be more curved like the S Class).I just hope it will really look good in the metal. The E Class is my favourite car.

I am driving a 2006 C230 now, and it is a very, very good car. Fast and comfortable. I will buy another MB, but still enjoy this one immensely.
