The Steel Guitar Rag was one of my Uncle Louie's favorite songs. But when you put a loud speaker on you house at Christmas to play music for the neighbors then come home feelin your oats at 3:00 in the mornin. Well all I can say is the neighbors didn't want to hear the Steel Guitar Rag at 3:00 in the morning and the Police responded. They were nicer back then and asked him to please stop. He did and no jail time was served. He would have loved your Guitar playing Wayne!
This type of music is wonderful and your nationality or culture do not matter one bit. Music is of the heart, it knows no national boundaries. Bless you, my friend, for playing beautiful music from any part of the world! Hugs ~ Suze
Wayne is a true master luthier and picker. I met him at the 2009 Wayne Henderson festival and he is a character. My family migrated to South Carolina, from Old Rag mountain area in 1792. Beats me why they left.
I was there for that festival also and just loved the music and everything about the park. I suppose your family, like others, left in search of work, money and a better life. Trouble is, it doesn't much better than the mountains. Peace, love and light to you ~ Suze

I cant belive its the man himself!, Such a beutiful guitar.. Only a musican such as Wayne henderson could play such an instrument.... Its one of those guitars that if you played it badly it would hate you forever.
lol I know what you mean.... Wayne Henderson is in a class by himself. You just keep doing YOUR thing. Doesn't mean it's not as good as his... it will just be different. Music is like ice cream... you can't have too many flavors! Thanks so much for stopping in and leaving such a wonderful comment. You made me smile. :))

So glad you like it, Debby. Thing I love about Wayne...he performs just like Clapton does... just stands there, doesn't move much, watches that guitar... and smokes it! You've made a great video response you made to this one... Thanks so much for that! Suze
