@IamMrLove I had to think about this one. My perspective is as a parent and not the music director, so strictly speaking I don't make the set list decision. I do agree with you it doesn't feel authentic or even proper to have a kid this young expressing the sentiments in these lyrics. But these kids really love Green Day, and judging by the number of views and comments here, this song is a favorite and was not to be omitted.
